Be interesting what they say about AR. Wonder if they’ll retire him. He seems a bit overhyped to me. Blown out twice, good in the Derby but very workmanlike in the Irish equivalent

Holy moly, Rosallion walked all over them. Ancient Wisdom put firmly in his place. Very taken by that, showed a lot of gears and looked effortless. Blue Point has produced a nice one. Saw this on Twitter; Richard Hannon knew it was coming. Mentioned the group 1 at the Curragh and Guineas.

Mystical Power the Annie Power/Galileo gelding has his second run tomorrow evening on the first day of Galway. First time over hurdles after winning a debut bumper

Had a few weeks off from the betting as I wasn't able to pick a thing! Feeling refreshed and ready to go for Goodwood this week now, amazing what a small break can do.

Cue zero wins from 5 days of racing  ;D

Started looking at Tuesdays card last night. There’s 8 races two days this week and some difficult handicaps, I’m sure there used to be better quality at Goodwood

Looks like Jim Crowley will be getting a possible 20 day ban for overuse of the whip on Hukum.

Hope it covers the Ebor meeting and any future rides on the horse (it won’t). There’s still no deterrent to over using the whip when a big race win is beckoning

I’ve long since lost sympathy for jockeys with the whip. The rules have been out for months now, they’re plain to see and they know punishments are being handed out now. If you go over it’s your own fault. I think as a collective jockeys aren’t carrying top weight in the head but they can’t plead ignorance.

I've not looked at all yet, that's this afternoons job. Surprised about the 8 races, there hasn't been 8 in previous years has there? Just shoehorning a couple of new Hcaps in for the bookies I suppose?

Clearly got a nice engine, won well despite being novicey at a few, look forward to seeing how he progresses when the proper jumps start up

Paddington is even money to win tomorrow on William Hill. Not sure what the stake limits are. Usually a tenner but it didn't say.

Hope he can swim! Joking aside I think he’s won on heavy which it may be by the time he runs. My better half is rather unimpressed about the predicted weather tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, even if you don't fancy him particularly strongly, for sheer value alone it's worth backing.

Vauban running in a group 3 at Naas tomorrow night. Wonder if they’ll stick to the flat with him if he’s up to group standard

They’ve got some good ones in France this year, but he looks the best. Imagine he’s Fav for the Arc now

Do any of you know the plan with Equinox? Remember being wowed by him earlier in the year at Meydan when they showed a race on ITV but not heard anything since.

Think he won recently in Japan, but not sure what’s next. Don’t think he’s coming over for the Arc but could be wrong

Thanks Duv, he looked good enough to beat the best in the world, hope we get to see him in some big races before the end of the year.

Interested to see how Arrest goes back on softer ground today. Too short to back but looked better than his last two runs, earlier in the season.

Quite impressed with that, was fairly free wasnt all out stayed on. If the Leger is softer ground I’d like him for that if they go there

The Prix Morny tomorrow looks a cracker. Think the French filly is very good but she’s actually been running on better ground than this so it’s a slight concern. She’s by Justify like City of Troy who just might be a new superstar stallion. If she’s fine on the ground her weight allowance could be handy as River Tiber looks all class too and the horse that was third in the Coventry has franked the form twice. Might prefer the ground to Ramatuelle. Some classy horses like Elite Status also in there so should be a great race

You think he wins? Going on Wednesday so could do with a good start.

Haven’t looked at the race properly yet, but disappointed at the way the big races particularly the Juddmonte have cut up

I'm not sure to be honest mate, I backed him when he won last time out, but this is obviously a much tougher task. Sky are paying 7 places so definitely worth an each way. You know I'm not a massive fan of the flats, Paddington looks the only safe bet of the week in the mentioned Juddmonte

Been a few big turn ups in the Juddmonte over the years, Brigadier Gerard the most famous but Golden Horn the most recent. Expect Paddington will win but I’ll probably just watch.

Like a couple in the last at decent prices (Red Zone Hero & Key to Cotai), but still need to look at the rest

Very much a nearly day at York. One winner in Mostahdaf, bunch of seconds and thirds, so a loss overall. And the real kick in the guts was 5 out of 6 on the placepot which paid just under £500

Enjoy, it’s a great course and it never felt too busy yesterday, didn’t have to queue for a drink at all.
Hope you enjoy better luck than we had

Back from York late last night. Had a brilliant day Friday, picking out three winners (one being Lake Forest @ 16/1 in the third!)

So we decided to go yesterday in the picnic area. Didn’t win a thing, not even a place! I did however get the Placepot up picking numbers based on my birthdate! Who needs to study form huh?!  ;D. Placepot paid £435 so a great birthday weekend was had!
