As the football league season is starting the real betting can begin

Anyone who has frequented the football bets thread knows that I probably get gold medal for the ifithadntabeenforthe and woe is me part but this year im going to be alot better in that regard. im going to stick it in here

Let the football bets thread be just that. Great shouts and quoting great shouts when we bash the bookies

It was over 40 shots, the other team only had 2. Unfuckingbelievable.

Mine was a five fold. Was with William Hill so will get a £50 free bet back with their Accy insurance promo. Have steamed into a City/Gala double tonight to try to recover. Big Issue if fails.

Who got MOTM? From what I saw Rooney was by far the best player on the pitch.

John Terry. Think it was a case of Rooney not being allowed by the club to do an interview hence not being able to award it him. Annoying really.

Looked at Defoe tonight anytime and 2 or more. Swerved both and had a bit more on Gomez instead.

Saw it was sturridges 24th birthday and said he wa a definite ags. Dithered and placed £50 at 15/8 at what i thought was 13.29 but it was 1.30 and it had already timed out

The last couple of weeks i've been on horses that have been heavily fancied by people so going off that and after a very good start i've lost a couple of hundred this week after chasing losses.

Well played. I'm going cold turkey on the gambling now. Lost about £300 last week. Made it all back from £20 in 4 hours on Friday and then lost it all plus £100 today and yesterday

Yeah i've done it a few times. When I actually think bets through and pick out ones I like I reckon I make more than I lose but then I start getting hooked a bit and betting on things like horses and other things I haven't a clue about and then it all disappears
