Good idea. Recycling! What colour is it? I'll look out for it. We have the sits by the railings again, row for two :)

Someone offered me a United spare a couple weeks ago. Booked a train assuming it was for Man United. Turns out it was for Sheffield. Can't really complain. ;)

Any decent away pubs? I'm assuming not but might as well go up and meet a mate.

My usual question: got my last direct train at 1920, and a couple via Euston departing between 2015 & 2030. Will I have any chance of getting the direct train?

Is Old Trafford tram station the best way out after the game to Piccadilly? Got to book soon.

Sorry knew that the train station near the away end had been closed permanently.

I'm now talking about the tram station near the cricket ground. I know there are more Metrolink stations within walking distance but not sure which 1 will be less busy.

It's about 3 miles from Old Trafford to Piccadilly rail station.  Take best part of an hour to walk it.  Better for him to get metrolink tram from Trafford Bar, even with the queuing.  Trams to Ashton under Lyne go direct to Piccadilly, but you can get trams to other destinations and change at St Peters Sq.

IF we are kept in as we are not always but yes, its way too risky to chance that train.

I remember the season after Istanbul there was a one fan in particular who took an exact replica of the trophy to away games. Luton away in the cup springs to mind. Wonder where he is now.. Need to dig it out for next week

Yes easily, that’s 2 hours after the final whistle so even if we have a lock in, still ample time to get that.

Got the tram in after we got let out after and it was still pretty busy and took a while to get on.

I'm still undecided the earliest I'll be able to get back to Piccadilly for my train home to Reading. I've ruled out the last direct one @ 1927, but have 3 or 4 options going via Euston, from just after 2000 to 2030

But part of the ticket is not flexible (the ticket is split into 3 or 4 different parts to make it cheaper). An earlier one, leaves @ 2005 is significantly cheaper.

I need to save any money I can.  Decisions, decisions!!

This bloody happens every time @ Old Trafford, but the TV companies don't give a thought to supporters!!

You will definitely make the 20.05 Dan I’ve read you can walk from OT to Picadilly in about 30 minutes. In fact if the hold back is less than half an hour you’d make the 19.27 direct one but I’d take the 20.05 to be safe.
