Once again go into the lead and sit off despite it knackering us for the last few games! Solanke has been excellent other than the chance he had and a real shame Saido hit the post.

We’re not sitting back as a tactic. Their long balls are pushing us back and all of our long balls are restricting us from moving up the field. Need a little composure on the ball and to keep possession a bit more so we can get the game back under control.

Probably a formation change from this 4-2-4would help as well.

I think yellow is arguably okay. Diouf going away from goal a little bit, but main thing is that Gomez was there to potentially make a tackle attempt.

Pretty good so far. Creating big chances without having Coutinho or Salah on the pitch is undoubtedly a positive. Mignolet though...

Yep, dominated his box well hasn't he? Good punch under pressure, and giving being loud and giving good instructions during set pieces. And was decisive when the rest of the defence switched off, exactly what we want from our keeper.

A cleaner tackle would have been nicer, but what's the cliche people say about being decisive (usually to criticize him, mind) - once you've decided to come, clear everyone out and take no prisoners. Did exactly that, and missed but prevented a goal. Will take a yellow over a goal any day.
