Agree with everything that has been said except for the mention of Degen.  I know he is being used to reinforce a point but by comparing him to Alves, I think we are doing a great injustice to him.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

You could at least spell Degen correctly if you're going to undermine him before he's even kicked a ball for us.

is that all you got out of that post a fuckin spelling mistake, i am sure there is a lot more to be concerned with, like the future of LFC. get real.

Where did £207 come from?

Isin't it £29, plus £20.00 x 2? = £69.00

Still a fucking disgrace.

He said "prior to the new stadium". I think that means that would be in 3 years time which would be 3 x 69 = £207

It's about time some scrutiny was directed at Gillett; he's one slimy fucker. Don't get me wrong, Hicks is a c*nt too, but does anybody seriously doubt that Gillett had no intention of refinancing the bridging loan onto the Club? Likewise the Klinsman affair, Gillett blows his top at Hicks when Hicks reveals the meetings took place, yet Gillett was the main mover and shaker.

It seems to me that Gillett's biggest girpe with Hicks is more to do with style rather than substance; he (Gillett) has no qualms about persuing controversial policies, he just doesn't want anybody to be shouting in public about the details, ala Hicks.
We are a good team. We are a serious team. We want to win. We want to do the right thing.

What's fucking my mind is,how come Gillete, coco and moores became so cosy during the initial crises in Feb. Can it then be concluded that coco and his muppet master were in together not to sell to DIC or was Gillette bullshitting them again.

We seem to be in a seriously deep bucket of shite with these two.  It gets worse by the day.  I'm hoping Moores is struggling to sleep at nights.

We make it look as though City  struck gold with that Thai bloke, as have Villa with that other yank bloke.

How can we get something so fundamentally wrong on every level?  I thought Parry & Moores were fairly incompetent, but this takes the definition to a whole lower level.

I'm not expecting anything but a completely shite season next year.  In fact I'm resigned to it.  No money, no decent signings, and it takes the biscuit when you can't take a chance on a talented 17 yr old, whereas Everton and UTD are left to battle it out.

Fucking shame what's happening to this club, and can't see any light unfortunately.

Well done SOS.
That is what I like being done ....action to save our club.
Maybe, before, I was misinterpreted when I criticised the lack of action being taken against H&G, and with me being an OOT, I was more or less inundated with several insults.

However, I want to make it clear.  SOS..YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB.  HOPE YOU MANAGE TO GET THOSE TWATS OUT OF OUR CLUB ASAP!!

Off subject, but... I just watched a dodumentary by alexi Sayle about Liverpool. BBC4 now has a John Peel documentary about Mersey Beat. Alexis set fire to The S*n. Gerry told the story of YNWA. We carry the legacy of those that went before us. We have to leave something for those that will follow.

THERE are parties and then there are parties.

I’ve just been to one that’s in my top five ever.

I hosted the day for David and Marge Moores’s 25th wedding anniversary.

I have to say right now that David Moores is exceptionally wealthy.

But what a lot of you don’t know is that he’s exceptionally nice.

He is such a down-to-earth man you wouldn't believe it. As for Marge, what a beautiful charming lady.

They are two very special people with no side to them; what you see is what you get.

They had planned a day with a small circle of friends, a day that no one would ever forget.

And what a great mixed bag of people: Kenny Dalglish, the clan from Cricket, Alan Hansen, the list went on.

The sign of a nice couple is the loyalty of their staff and, believe me, the staff love the Moores with a passion. They’ve been with them for years.

David, who rarely speaks, got up to tell everybody that Marge was his rock and his soulmate and that his family were his life.

The day was packed with pink champagne, food and entertainment in a wondrous marquee somewhere very beautiful.

There was a stunning present, a surprise for Marge from David to show his love and devotion.

Lionel Richie flew in to top the bill. Not a tribute band but THE Lionel Richie.

The man who sang Three Times A Lady and the seller of more than 100m albums was there in person.

Lionel invited David to sing a duet with him but the less said about that the better.

In my early days at the Cabin Club and the Shakespeare, David was one of our customers and he was always very charming and respectful to the staff; I have never forgotten that.

So great food and great entertainment, all topped off with fireworks and Lionel Richie – a wedding anniversary to never forget.

I thought that c*nt gillett had his head set straight by the death threats he received, he talked about not wanting to put his family in danger - obviously doesn't care as much as he said.

I'll be there lads, and so will my banner.

In Gilletts interview on canadien radio, he said some encouraging things, good PR from him. He made himself look a victim and a moral superior. He also said one or two things that were complete bollocks.  In my opinion some outright porkies. He is fuckin well sly.

Hicks and Gillett both need to get the message, sell up and get out of our club now, Parry and Moores need to follow closely there after. Simple as.

Is this scheme just a sly way of forcing people to join the OLSC or the PTS which automatically includes a renewable OLSC membership ? . Can anyone explain it in more detail maybe ?
How do these new fancards affect Season tickets ? will all matches be on a fancard now instead of having paper tickets for the cups ?

Can't get my head around it like, greedy twats.

to be honest the whole debacle should make us want to question everything in the finest detail and perhaps not let emotion/sentiment/preference cloud judgements and future judgements regarding the state of club affairs.

and personally i wouldnt take anyone, i wouldnt take morgan and his groundshare ideas, i wouldnt take moores and parry back and their dithering, or taksin and his dodgy money, i've no idea what dic would bring to the table, i've no idea what dubai holdings could bring, and i've no idea what kraft would have brought.

i know what we've got with the yanks i want to know how they plan to recover that debt, pay it off, and by when, the deadlines, if its recoverable, how much will they personally take from lfc if it gets to that point where we have no debts and we are making profit cos of the ground/tv deals/etc etc

i want some clarity on these issues.
