Good to hear, hopefully he plays against Southampton but if not, he'll be back for Sevilla.

hopefully Coutinho is available for the Southampton game too being as he played for Brazil, and Sturridge will be ready, and Mo of course had some days off too, so I guess it wouldn't be a surprise if Sadio starts on the bench even if he is full fit, cos of the big CL game coming up.

You were making serious accusations about current and former Liverpool players with no evidence to back those allegations up.

Once again (zzzzzzz) never mentioned any names nor was I asked to prove any evidence.

Not that I would on a social media site.

Not going to get into an argument on the internet because I am not a child or that arsed about your opinions like wise no one cares about mine.

Sadio appears to be playing a deeper role more recently, more like a left sided midfielder rather than a left sided forward. I think the intention is to shore up the defence a bit more, with Salah being pushed into more #9 type zones.

He's doing well in the role, but I don't think it's necessarily what comes naturally to him. I think he's a similar type of player to Salah and Ronaldo and Messi in that he's a genuine goalscorer who happens to start on the wing. It will be interesting to see how he develops in the position and make it into something new. I think he's someone who's suited to being the centre piece of the attack, and I think he's closer to playing a role for the team right now.

He won't be playing in this kind of position every game, of course. I imagine over the course of the season (and even within a game) Mané will switch into the Salah role and maybe Ox will be in the Mané role.

Yes agree. Noticed him becoming quite frustrated on the weekend, as he was receiving the ball deeper and still wanting to beat his man (actually, in most cases two), but inevitably losing the ball or having to pass in/back. He's a natural goalscorer and will grow frustrated if he has to compromise that long-term, so yes its a challenge for Klopp to help him adapt.

That is the way we should go about it. If the opposition target one of our players then the other one will bite them in the ass. That includes Mane, Salah, Coutinho and Bobby.

Yup, thought the same myself.
It seems he's been pushed a little bit closer to the midfield than in prior games, probably so as to pick his moments to push up and conserve his energy (versus his usual all action up-down on the sideline activity), but he might have pushed a little bit harder than usual and forced things only because of the opposition he faced. One of those "make sure I play remind my former team how good I am/have become" sort of things. He's probably also faced off against the opposing defender enough times to believe he can always bypass him. Either way, he seemed to skip the script a few times and force the issue. Was still a menace all game.

Looks like he was not 100% in the 2nd Half. Lost quite a lot of pace and were slow to 2nd balls. I expected him to be sub after 60 mins but Salah got that instead. Got pinned back and could not recycle fast enough. Hope he is ok for the weekend game

Don't think he's looked right at all this season, seems to be playing within himself a little and isn't buzzing around as much as he did last season.  That header was delicious though, outstanding finish.

As others mentioned, he looked slow to some balls last night in the second half, would have taken him off but oh well.

Had a fantastic first half and took that header brilliantly. He was fantastic against Southampton I thought, just a shame he couldn't get a goal.

There was the West Ham game as well, where he didn't quite look his usual self, and still got 2 assists.

I can't fucking wait til he's 100% again.

He isn't himself, and in the back of my mind I do worry given his recent injuries. A knee injury in the derby, misses the rest of the season, comes back, plays really well but then picks up a hamstring injury, misses key games and then comes back early. Then he goes on international duty, picks up a twinge again and then comes back not looking himself.

I'm glad he got a goal last night and at West Ham he looked good if not quite sharp. Last night was a tough environment but his touch was off, he looked slow. Hopefully it is just rust and he'll be managed properly and get back looking sharp this weekend when we need him most.

Mane seemed rational but passionate, not one of these theatrical strops you see some players throwing.

They are both professional and it may be that Mane had a valid point which Klopp needs to consider.

Yeah, it didn’t look all that bad, far better than how some managers/players would act.
