In light of the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the belated cancellation of flights to Kiev, Liverpool FC is offering affected supporters a full refund on match tickets bought directly from the club.Supporters who were booked on flight numbers ET8704 and ET8706, and those who were unable to travel on the rearranged ET8700 flight booked through World Choice Sport, will be able to claim the refund. Refunds will be issued both at the ticket office at Anfield and via postal application. Supporters will need the following information in order to claim their refund:Confirmation of the flight cancellationThe match ticket booking confirmation email that was issued by LFC when the tickets were bookedThe original ticket (which LFC will retain after the refund is processed)Refunds can be obtained in person at Anfield on Saturday May 26 between 10am and 3pm, with postal applications being accepted with postmarks dated Friday May 25 and Saturday May 26 only. The decision to offer refunds has been made in response to the cancellation of two flights chartered by Widnes-based travel company World Choice Sport, leaving around 650 supporters without a flight to Kiev for the Champions League final.
I’ve called Thomas Cook who’ve confirmed chartered flights wouldn’t appear on the KBP website. So hopefully we are all okay. He was extremely positive that things won’t be a shitshow for us, so fingers crossed.

This is very very poor and the club offering refunds for tickets as long as done before whatever date is also bollocks. They stand to make millions they can get a slot to get team back that night/morning. They could also pressure two slots for another plane or two as could UEFA. Cancel the UEFA plane slots replace it with a charter. Least they could do is bus the c*nts in from Switzerland and send their jet to Liverpool. Miserable twats the lot. Heart goes out to thise of you with cancellations and hope club/owners/Thomas Cook/UEFA someone can sort this evil situation out. Finally no consolation but ban the travel company from ever running trips again associated with the club. I have my fingers crossed for you all to get sorted

No final decision yet but really not looking good - unable to resolve flight situation. With support of @Vitaliy_Klychko #Kiev airport & carrier we had plane & landing slot but crew were coming from USA and crew rest time huge barrier. Time against us

Not sure if posted before but if anyone is able to change their plans last min coz of this there is a direct flight from Heathrow at 08.20 tomorrow morning direct to Kiev landing at 13.35. Hope that will help someone at least
Hugely disappointed that our efforts to sort #LFC fan flights has not worked @Vitaliy_Klychko & airport directors did all possible with landing slots and planes but not able to get over the line. Frustrated by utter shambles faced by loyal fans

The accountability is all UEFA's as it is so clear Kiev was never fit to stage this final in the first place. If you haven't got the means to deal with all the travel why would any organisation worth its salt let the event go ahead there? You won't get anything off those incompetent bellends though.
