Granted I don't live in London, but surely there's more than one form of public transport over to Fulham.

The courts, the rich, the powerful or those in authority never lie. It has been dealt with 'by the courts' nothing to see here run along.

Still. Not the end of the world if it gets called off. Gives our players some time to rest ahead of the cup game. By the time it's back on, we'll hopefully have a few of them back from injury.
Its not about our players needing rest, its entirely about there's. Full credit to Fulham for their excellent display yesterday but they are simply using the Tube Strike as bait to the F.A to ensure their squad is 'fully fit' to compete against us.

No doubt the game will be rescheduled just before the Man UTD game.

It will probably be another mid-week game.

I just don't get it.. Why would they have to travel with the tube?

There are overground stations pretty close to both Hammersmith and Putney tube stations, with easy bus links from each.

This is all about opportunism to aid fixture congestion.

The tube strikes weren't ideal last week but it was still perfectly possible to get to pretty well anywhere in London, especially places with overground links such as Craven Cottage. Would be extremely surprised if this gets called off.
True and about 90% of those who got 'caught' were just skiving saying they were going to wfh.

They've got enough time to contact all of their stewards and arrange taxis / buses to pick them up and deliver them to the ground. It's like Luton in the cup many years ago - they don't fancy it, pure and simple and shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Why is their situation any different to any other London club playing on Wednesday?

Edit: Thanks for agreeing with me Tony!!

The FA need to step in here.

If Arsenal play then so should Fulham. If they don't then we get the points.

Meh, they twatted us first half in a game people would say we'd go into double figures.

Fwiw I think we'll batter Fulham as well, I just think we don't need loudmouths going around screaming that we'll win every game 8-0 etc.

They're the bottom team in the league, and we just slaughtered Arsenal in a first half demolition.

Confidence is not misplaced.

Indeed. Not like there hasn't been no notice of these strikes either, if it was that much of an issue getting staff in they should get some temps and spend the day training them at Craven Cottage. Not hard.

If you cant meet your obligations you should have to forfeit the match, this isn't Sunday league stuff.

Absolutely ridiculous. Craven Cottage is perfectly accessible without the need of the tube. Why can't the stewards get one of the many buses and walk the 10 minutes. If the other London games are all on then this simply has to be, but we all know how corrupt the decision makers are so I'm expecting this to be called off to be honest.

I don't understand how Fulham are unable to comply tomorrow night when they complied perfectly well last week for the FA Cup fixture.

Probably because they thought they'd beat Sheffield United but fancy a rest ahead of this game after their OT exertions.

This will be postponed without a shadow of doubt. News suggests the Premier League told them to see how things had developed by Tuesday, and nothing will have changed.

My feelings for this club have gone from fondness to scorn in the space of 24 hours ;D
