Sure. Will make it harder to be free for the pick but it is too slow currently.

Think that is more due to people not being online rather than the time limit though.

Yeah, when people are online they get there picks done pretty swiftly. The time limit becomes a problem when people vanish completely without telling anyone or leaving their picks with someone.

Maybe 2 hours is less harsh. With 1 hour deadlines given to repeat offenders.

Agreed.

Anyway, I make it 12 more mins until it moves onto Hazell's pick. Should hopefully see more movement then.

Will change the time limit to an hour starting the next round if everyone's ok with that?

Sounds good.  Traveling tomorrow so if possible have Chakan shoot me a text for quick reply :)

Salah's been here for just over half a season and he's going in the first round of an LFC draft. Suppose that shows how good he's been! ;D

I was weighing him up alongside Macca. Nostalgia and bedroom wall posters won out.

Progress! At the other rate of speed, I was tempted to pick Rhian Brewster in hope he's be a 40+ goal a season player when the voting comes round.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

I thought it might be to soon for him but given the tournament is based on LFC form alone, voters will have nothing but this sensational season, record-breaking season to go off of.

The start to his Liverpool career is possibly the best ever.

If Tubby attempts to claim Fatty Foulke (technically not a LFC player ever) - 52 Stone; then we'll know he is a heavy weight drafter!

Foulke was the heaviest player ever to play football in England, I believe.

Good choice on Molby. Was going to be my pick had Alonso not been available. If neither had been available, I'd have been left with my midfield controller as either being Rosie's son or Fordy's unrequited love.

It's funny that we remember him as a lard arse, but he was actually slim once.

What a player. The very definition of the phrase "metronome" in tactics.

I can always trust Hazell to take my picks. I hate being near the middle of the order.

My favourite ever Liverpool CB (seen with my own eyes) will have to do.

Are we waiting for Sarge, although he is AWOL?  Or can Saint Kop go now?  Not sure about the rule application here.

I've decided to build a team I have seen play with my own eyes and some of my favourite players. Was sitting here thinking maybe I should throw that out the window being so soon in the picks, but committed.

This is gonna go out the window quick  I reckon!

Slightly surprised Aldo went before Keegle. Always interesting to see how other reds rate our players.

Ah, just noticed it was a PoP choice. Got to have a Bodo type first rounder I guess.  ;)

I would have gone for him for the hair, but that's a good reason too. In fairness, that's a great forward partnership and I reckon they'd dovetail brilliantly. I'm just slightly surprised Keegan went so late, I mean the guy was legitimately one of the best players in the world for a bit, or so my da reckons. Often feel like he's slightly underrated. Keegan that is, not my da. My old fella's massively overrated.

Magical player. There's always one player in a team that embodies a manager's ideas, and I think Keegan, more than anyone, embodied exactly what Shanks wanted in a player.

Sarge has clearly gone AWOL. Best to keep skipping him from now on. Or else maybe someone out there watching wants to take his place?  :wave  Making a draw from an uneven number of teams can be a bit of a headache.
