Well done Bess. Well done, gargle gargle, Buttler.

Another Test series comes to a premature end just as it’s getting interesting (like New Zealand last time they toured).

No more Tests til August seems ridiculous.

There'll be some fun and games here when they announce that next summer's Ashes tests only begin in August.

World Cup final is 14 July after a six week tournament and there's expected to be a 4 day England-Ireland test at Lord's 10 days after that, which pushes the Ashes to August.

That’s fair enough with the World Cup going on. Seems a bit of a waste of a month of summer this year though.

don't think so. it's so they can get in some money spinner ODIs vs australia and then the white ball stuff vs india.

I see, also is it because of the World Cup next year which is in England end of May until mid July, that we can't fit the ODIs in vs Australia next year so that's moved to this year or we we get more ODIs in after the WC?

Stokes and Woakes missing it now. 20 overs of bowling and two reliable batsmen down.

I don't understand why Jake Ball, he hasn't performed well in the past and he can't bat either.
Doesn't make sense. Would have been better going with Tom Curran or someone similar.

england have won the toss vs the scots and are having a bowl first. you'd imagine they won't last the 50 overs.

The bowling has been awful, just asking to be hit, good pitch by the looks of it and we won the toss and put them into bat, hmm....

Guessing it’s a fairly small ground? Can see one or two of our batters teeing off.

Do we have the bowling depth with a few of the first choice missing? Is Moeen playing or is he out of favour in all formats?

You look at that ground and you think that our top 3 will be looking to smash it everywhere.

Or they could get out cheaply trying to do so.
