Trouble is we've signed most of the good ones now.  ;)

Better make sure you finish above us this year then!  ;) :)

I'm actually quite excited about the prospect of signing Jack Grealish. If we can get him for 20-25 million I think he could prove to be a real bargain.  A lot of my family are Villa fans so I've seen him play a hell of a lot, and he's been pretty much the only shining light in the team the last couple of years.

The only downside.....our new kit makes it look like you have your shorts way too high. So Grealish is gonna look like he's wearing a thong.

You have my utmost sympathy Tommy.

Villa now have new ownership so not under the same pressure to sell as they were before .

Can't see them selling for 20mil now. Probably will cost 30-35 mil considering he won't force a move.

Wait... they shaped it like a chicken egg???

You know how there's 60,062 seats to represent the last time they won the league?

The stadium is shaped to represent the number of champions league titles they've won.
Maybe the group, led by your leadership, will see these drafts as PR functions and brilliant use of humor

I don't think the stadium is expected to be completed completely until December'ish. It's just a case of getting it to an operational level for the Liverpool game I think.

Well they better crack on with as I drove past it Thursday and they still haven't finished building the outer frame of the stadium.

Will the million dollar glass walkway be ready? That's the main question surely.

Whats going on with their signings anyway, or lack of? Doesn't seem to be a huge amount going on at all, apart from Grealish. And they're still sat there with deadwood like Sissoko, Janssen and Llorente. I assume the hope is that the likes of Foyth, Onomah and Winks suddenly become world beaters because otherwise it could go south pretty quickly.

Although I do feel they need a few more additions, sometimes it's more important to keep a settled squad together. If they can do that and add Grealish, I think they'll have a decent season again. Might not challenge or win anything, but could still finish top 4 in my opinion.

Especially with all the turd which will be inside it soon.

But they don't need to worry about flies. Mouth-breather will take care of them.
Mark my words. Top 8 will be a massive struggle.
We won't make any big signings this season and we will go back to being a top4 club.

I think it is sometimes if you've got a strong squad, but they look particularly weak in a few areas in terms of depth and a lot of their important players have barely had a break this summer (Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Trippier, Rose, Alli, Dembele, Dier and Kane all went right to the end of the WC plus the likes of Eriksen and Son playing every game until their country went out). I'd have expected them to make a few signings by now considering they might be relying on their squad players for a few games.

We all do, but the southern based Spurs biased media have to sugar coat it somehow, even throwing in (fabricated) Liverpool interest to make it look better when they sign him, giving it a nice "beat Liverpool to his signature" narrative that the Spurs fuckwits can bleat about on Twitter.

Or maybe they're prompted by him scoring 8 and assisting 8 in the last couple of Championship seasons combined. Could be that.

I think it gets put to the other PL clubs and they only play there the entire season if they lose the vote.

Grealish is an odd one. Two years in the Championship. If anyone, you'd expect a lower to mid table PL to come in for him before one with designs on the title.
