I did the same recently with AMS2.

Might be worth dowloading cheat engine and the relevant cheat table from Nexus too as you're starting over. You can add all of the paid armours, horses, ships and weapons and birds. Ubisoft can't/won't do anything as they're already in the game files. Worth your time imo as there's a lot of cool stuff.

I've still got Demon Souls on the PS5 but only made it past the first boss. It's a great remake to be fair, they were faithful to the original but I sucked at that too!

It's just punishing as fuck and the same sort of apprehension to continue which I had with Bloodborne half way through. The reason I never bothered with Sekiro and won't bother with Elden Ring. Think I've learnt my lesson..

Quest giver doesn't seem bothered that body on the floor behind her is the lady she sent me to go help. I killed her and carried her corpse all the way back. Her problem now, I got my reward for completing the quest!

Yeah, from what I've seen Forbidden West hasn't really come on too far from HZD given that they're five years apart. But then it doesn't have to I guess as HZD is still a great looking game.

Thanks mate. Built another reshade, specifically for Toussaint to get rid of the shitty cyan sky and overly yellow tint. Added ambient lighting, AO and other such bollocks. Results:

Yeah, I agree mate. As you say, it's got great draw distance and is generally pretty impressive across the board graphically in my opinion, even for 2022. Some of the lighting - like when it rains at dusk for example - is pretty much as good as anything out there in my view. Great general ambiance too. Moments such as when I'll just be walking to a spot and the gentle Latin American guitar kicks in feel so immersive. Say what you want about Ubisoft, but they build some genuinely beautiful worlds.

Yeah. I've heard that they've fixed a lot of the issues with it (Breakpoint), but it really doesn't appeal to me. Fighting with all of the drones/mechs and such bollocks just doesn't peak my interest. They should have done a sequel to the story in Wildlands and set it in Mexico, the Middle East of some such in my opinion.
