The sub right on 90 mins

Thought someone would say that, go back and watch any game over the weekend and it's never added on, refs just make it up on the fly.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Pickfordesque keeping there, makes a change not seeing a ref blowing up for someone breathing on a keeper, should happen more

Yep. Mad how protected they usually are isn’t it. Most of them are about 6’3+, can use their hands, yet are allowed to fly out and punch and it’s fine if they hit someone, that catch thing they do where they jump with their knee smashing in to people. Yet breathe near them and it’s a foul.  ;D Hopefully see more refs letting it go like tonight.

Dubvraka has been a fine example of Rafa's mastery of the transfer market, brought him in for a pittance and hes done very well. Rafa was after a goalie for a long time. Having a wee blip at the moment though.

Not only was it 40 seconds? after tge alloted 4. The ball from Traore looked like it bent out of play before Bony scored. Still a mistake by the goalie though. Twice now

it was a foul. he clearly had his hands on the keepers shoulders which he also used to put the ball in the net. it was holding on the keeper and a handball. thats tough on newcastle. c*nt of a ref.

Never seen Rafa that pissed off

Not surprised, it’s the sort of thing which can end up seeing a team relegated and they defended exceptionally only for their keeper AGAIN to fuck up.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Out on the touchline, the new Paraguayan lad got clearly fouled and the play continued leading to a succession of corners, inevitable pressure, and the goal. It wasn’t even debatable. Look back if you can - the ‘assistant’ is culpable.

Wasn't a foul on the keeper. Newcastle keeper has been making massive mistakes of late.

However, ref needs to stop time after 4 mins extra time not 5 mins.

The ref correctly added time on. It is a MINIMUM time added on. The ref should be praised.

30 seconds for a sub isn't it so he's gone over that time and yes it would be great if every ref added on time but it's infuriating when it's applied in one game and not another. I've often said take the timekeeping out of the refs hands, he's got enough other things to be worried about.

I didn't time how long the sub took. But if the sub took 45 seconds then 45 seconds should be added. Games never get stopped when a team is attacking either.

Ive just gone back and had a good look at that in slo-mo/freeze frame. Its a clear foul. Dubvrakas going up in a perfect situation to catch the ball and Bolys hands and arms appear on both shoulders and then Dubvrakas going down not up and sideways not straight.  At the exact point where he doesn't catch it, it looks like a wwf chokehold hes actually covered his face with his arms and yanked his head backwards. It goes off Dubvrakas inner arm as a result and bounces into the net.

Very skillful by Boly in real time he jumps with the keep and the whole foul happens in a flash. Thats a 100% var overturn though, imo.

No one grabbed the keeper. The keeper has had a complete nightmare there. He's flopped it and is already going backwards before Boly touches him. Boly's arms touching his shoulder has no bearing on him misjudging it.

Aside from the late drama Newcastle’s game management of injury time is as bad as you’ll see

Chances to keep ball over and over again chances to get in corner over again. Instead rondons trying through balls that weren’t on and they’re fucking crossing !
