With the recent marches in Dresden etc, I think today's atrocity could really stoke up some tension across Europe.

Far right attacks on mosques etc to ramp up. A growing anti-Islamic sentiment manifesting itself in violence. An unofficial religious war?

Personally, I'd jib them all off. Ban all religions. More trouble than it's worth.
