It's a difficult one. There's always going to be some people with a genuine last minute reason not to attend even if they have a ticket. With a club the size of ours, there will always be someone who will want a last minute spare. There's no way of weeding out those with a genuine reason not attending so until the entire ticketing process goes digital, it's impossible for the club to police it.

I don't think the process going digital really changes much to be very honest, it's a minor inconvenience at best although it'd be great if both home and away there was a consistent way to log attendees.

I dunno - the club should be able to keep a tally, and so someone doing this once or twice a season - fine. Doing it loads of times through a season then there should be bigger question marks

Just looked now and 12,000+ had a queue position.  I assume that’s multiple devices and people like me curious to know how many are in this sale. The real number needs to be half of that for those of us in the ballot.

the number is probably about 5500, PNE was 5800, arsenal also went to all STHS so maybe a few got that. Norwich stayed at 1+ I took a few hundred off to account for those already sorted but it's definitely not 12,000 not close

The absolute max who could buy in this sale is the largest away allocation, so 5.5k or whatever it was

Without being overly pedantic, 5.5k would be the minimum who qualify right? Everyone who bought Preston has got 1 away credit definitely, but more than went to Preston might have one away credit as well.

E.G Someone could have missed Norwich/Preston as credits didn't count but then used tickets from a previous season to attend Arsenal as it was a Semi. I imagine most people will have just bought all 3 though, but the number is everyone at Preston + anyone who only bought 1/2 games which could be a handful up to a few hundred extra.

Edit: But could be negated by some people having the aways but not the homes.

Mad how that sale was so easy but the 13+ members sale is always a nightmare with over an hour waits in most cases with a similar number who qualify!

I guess people want Kop tickets for that.

With a final, in is very much in etc.
