Bang in the middle of Nottingham for Uni. Just went and speant 50 minutes waiting for the bus to come... it didnt. I'm meant to be having a module exam round about now, but there was just no way I could get in.

Finally we got some snow.

I was laughing the other night...some cockney on the tv fuming "there aint no gritters" bla bla bla...
Well... Fact is there is no point in salting or gritting roads with more then 3cm's of snow! Its pointless and useless...Or gritting before a heavy snowfall. What is missing is snow ploughs to remove most of it, and then the gritter should follow. The roads will be clear in no time, and most importantly no black ice can form. Talking from experience here!

It hailed down here in Cornwall on Sunday, there was a crack of thunder, a flash of lightening and it hailed for 2 minutes.

We had hail a few days ago too. Only lasted a few minutes, since then it's been raining and then sunny over and over. 5 minutes ago it was pissing it down, now it's quite sunny. Crazy weather.

Yep, my daughter lives in Calgary -51 wind chill on Monday, would be nice to migrate somewhere warm for 5 months.

I lived in India for a while, and the mossies don't pay any attention to you, it's a target rich country for them. Different in Canada, not many targets so they sure glom onto you fast!

Sounds nice, It's gated communties down there though isn't it? I know a lot of Canadians go to Phoenix, but the crime rate would put me off. A trailer in the middle of nowhere (as in kill bill2) would do me.

Whilst glancing at the Birmingham-Blackburn game last night I thought it was snowing there at half time. I was then told by a mate that it was just Xmas graphics on Sky Sports and to notice how the snow was also in front of their computer graphics. I felt like a right dope.

It is gated community land. Phoenix is pretty bad for crime but places like Scottsdale and Tempe are sound.

Wish it would snow though.

It's said to be snowing today and the coming days, but haven't seen a single white flake yet.
Hopefully some tomorrow.
