Lyon won't sell Lacazette in January but it will be interesting to see in the summer what happens. PSG will probably have a go but will face competition that's for sure.

Really? Yes, Cavani is not scoring as much as he did in Italy (still 1 in 2 is not that bad, mind) and Lavezzi is not as influental as he was, but maybe thats down to Blanc's tactics and (mis)use of these two and not them being not good enough?

I don't think you can blame Blanc. When Ibra was injured Cavani played up front for seven weeks and were still poor and missed many scoring opportunities. He has been given many chances but the fans are tired of him. They need someone better. And Lavezzi is a very limited player and Blanc can't change that. Both are likely to be sold soon.

PSG lose 4-2 to Bastia, who were in the relegation zone prior to kick-off. Glorious third goal by Bastia. Cisse was on the bench for them but didn't come on. Will never forgive Cabaye for that tackle on Spearing, and Luiz & Ibrahimovic are two of world football's biggest wankers, so it's always good to see them lose. Marseille lost yesterday as well, which means Lyon will go top if they win tomorrow afternoon.

Who would PSG get in temporary charge and is there anyone in particular they want for next season?

Lacazette scores 2 to take his tally for the season to 19 league goals as Lyon lead Toulouse 2-0 at half time.

So, PSG are now 4th. How did they manage to get there, with that team?

A few injuries on key players like Ibra and Verratti over the season. Players not turning up for practice (Cavani, Lavezzi) and Motta said to be unhappy at PSG and want out. Trouble brewing. PSG look a bit of a mess at the moment.

Too much money and not enough heart? I don't know. Zlatan picking up injuries more frequently and is 33 now, so when you can't rely on him who will pick up the pieces and carry them through? No one as it seems.

Metz are down to 10 men as Lacazette scores from the spot to put Lyon 1-0 up, that 21 gaols in 22 games for Lacazette.

Lyon v PSG tonight is probably the biggest Ligue 1 match of the season so far. The majority of Lyon's team will be made up of academy graduates, while PSG are a side that buy everything and nurture nothing. Ibrahimovic being an ever bigger bell-end than usual over the past week or so. Motta, Luiz and Verratti hardly rank among the continent's most likeable players either.

Lyon one up at half-time. Luiz has missed a sitter. All good so far. Hoping for a really niggly second half in which Lyon nick another goal.

PSG drew 2-2 against Caen. Cabaye, Marquinhos, Lucas Moura and Aurier all got injured during the game. Marseille also drew 2-2 thanks to a late goal from David Ngog.

Really like the look of Nabil Fekir (Lyon).

Was going to ask about this fella. Like to have a look at top assists and goal tables across the European leagues, and he caught my eye.

Anyone got more info?

Catastrophic defeat for Marseille at home to Caen tonight.  2-0 up, going on to lose 3-2 to one late and two lateish goals.  That's a couple of weeks after Caen did something similar to PSG as well (well, to 2-2 at any rate).

Origi has just been booed by the home fans has he was being subbed off late in the Lille v Lyons game. Lille are 2-1 up. Only just tuned in, so don't know he's done something to upset them in this particular match or whether the Lille supporters have taken a general dislike to him. Not great to see though. Nor is the fact that PSG can go top tomorrow after Lyons' and Marseilles' defeats this weekend.

I watched a Lyon game this weekend because i was bored and mainly to see that Lacazette. He looked good but i was very impressed by Fekir. He scored a really good goal. Great name as well.

PSG having a CL hangover aswell, losing 1-0 away to Bordeaux at HT.

Luiz subbed off, Cavani didn't start.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Bordeaux deservedly won 3-2 in the end. Ilori started for Bordeaux against a front three of Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi and Pastore. He was at fault for PSG's first goal but seemed OK overall. Warming to PSG a tad after they knocked Chelsea out.

I dont think he was at fault for the first goal, the goalkeeper should of collected the ball quicker but was dithering like a fool before Ibra got his toe onto it.
Ilori played well and looks like a great prospect

Ligue 1 relegation fight is incredible this year. Positions 10-18 are neck deep in it and 18th placed Evian have 37 pts after 33 games. Safety mark would be around 44-45 pts!

Hope Nantes can beat PSG that would make things interesting. But probably won't happen.
