Not sure if it is any different but a friend of mine got sorted from an E-ticket for Madrid and wasn't asked any questions about the name on the ticket etc.

Applied for my 2, never been successful in a ballot so it'll be sods law that they say I'm successful but for the Category 1 tickets 

The price categories for tickets for the general public are:

Category 4: €70
Category 3: €180
Category 2: €490
Category 1: €690

"If one person is found in multiple applications – as a main applicant or as a guest – all those applications will be cancelled and will not participate in the lottery."

Are people getting around this by applying under different names, i.e family members?

Me and a few mates and a couple of work colleagues done the Istanbul ballot in 2005...ended up with about 15 tickets from UEFA 😂😂...much more chance back in those days

So did we but have cancelled one of the applications now so will hopefully be ok.

I think the uefa ballot will be the same as the euros. Ie can transfer the tickets to anyone etc. you can make multiple applications as they don’t check passport numbers etc. nothing stops a tout creating 40 emails make 40 applications under random names and passport numbers.

Different names, emails, addresses, all sorts.

They don't have a way of checking passport numbers etc of the whole world...that rule about names repeating is too scare you.
Same as phone numbers...just use different mails

Does anybody know how many tickets will be in each category to boost our chances of getting one? I'm guessing that most of the hospitality/corporate will be CAT 1 - will there be sufficient tickets in Cat 4? I'm guessing maybe the best chance is to apply for CAT 2/3.
If City reach the final they will do well to sell out their 20k allocation to be honest!

I think the passport numbers are to verify people are only applying once and then used to access your ticket I don't think they check details or anything else

Doing that would actually be really easy for them to do. List all applications and highlight where a passport number is duplicated then just delete those entries.
