He had our backs and we stab him in his.

What a fucking shambles.
From here on in its all FSG's doing. Good or bad they will stand or fall by the decisions they have made in the summer of 2012. Lets hope they have gotten it right.

Some players by the sounds of it aswell. It's been an almighty fuck up which we may not recover from for at least 5 years or so.

I'd post one but I can't add attachments. The pic of him waving goodbye says it all.. followed by this statement:

“I’ll always keep in my heart the good times I’ve had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager.

That's the most beautiful picture, just look how much in love they are.  At least Montse can appreciate what she's got.

Thank you Rafa; whichever club benefits from this joke of a decision will be in very safe hands, I just hope they treat you better than those idiots did.  You're a gent, a fantastic manager, a true football fan and someone whose time here will one day be recognised for what it was and you will be fully celebrated.

Not been this sad since King Kenny quit in 1991. The only difference was I was 14 then. I'm 34 now.

I think I'm welling up here and better leave here before the mighty waterworks come on.

Rafa, thank you for everything, thank you ever so much. Wish you, Montse and the kids all the best wherever you go.

Good luck, you will always be welcome at Anfield. Now you can join us in the Kop for a game. Hope you manage to fulfil that ambition.
We'll visit the Folies Bergeres,
They like to see the Scousers there,
The women are lovely with skin like a peach,
But no one can move it like Kenny Dalglish.

Great pic.

But poignantly it sums up the sad state at our club atm.  A Yanks Out banner above a banner showing Rafa among this clubs managerial legends, where he definitely deserves to be.  Two aspects of one picture and one club, but a million miles apart.

Fuck off NOW you lying bastards!

Thought the same thing to myself earlier, except I'm two years older. Still can't quite believe it.

I'll never forget the first time I saw this in Cardiff. One of those moments that seem uique to Liverpool Football Club, just remember people with looks of disbelief on their faces as it was paraded down the street.
