International friendlies don’t have a subs limit do they? He could still come on.

Edit, he’s on. Ten minutes left.

That Senegal manager is such a dickhead. Why have him on for 10 minutes?

The Brazil manager can fuck off as well. Fucking Tite.

They won so he can say ‘I told you so’ but I agree, stupid decision. I think he came through unscathed thankfully.

Mane getting 10mins and getting a goal aint such a bad thing - continue that form into Spurs. Its 10mins folks, whoopty doo. He has 3 full days of no travel before the Spurs game.

Firmino playing is more annoying, as he played the last game and this is a friendly. If Jesus is the future why is he not getting a start in a friendly after Firmino played in the Panama game...that annoys me. Alisson was always going to play since he missed the Panama game.

I'd rather our players were playing to be honest, we always seem slow to pick up our rhythm after a break. Far better they come back full of confidence and they all will.

Well our forward line has had a full mix of experiences. 1 went on holiday, 1 got half the playing time and 1 got flogged to an inch of his life. We will see who does well after the break.

As far as Mane is concerned I'm quite happy for him to play he is in full confidence at the moment the goal he scored tonight will give him even more self-belief. I actually wish Salah had been especially had he been able to get a goal would have done him the world of good.

It appears as though we’ve come through the two sets of matches without injury. Wow. Lovren and Hendo got useful minutes, Lallana, Ox and Gomez had more time to fully recover and Milner’s been locked in a cage for ten days chomping at the bit. The real stuff starts now.

Tite is such a fucking c*nt. Must be a City fan.
He's managed 2 clubs in the UAE, obvious what's happening for all to see.

Probably had got a nice cheque from Abu Dhabi and Pep on the blower, in the early intenationals at the beginning of the season he never picked Ederson Fernandinho or Jesus in those squads.

Or, he realised Alisson, fab and Bobby are better? Fernandinho has been injured so he wasnt even in the squad. I’m all for accepting International managers can be c*nts but let’s not go too far with our conspiracies.

I'm talking about the first set of internationals at the beginning of the season when he never picked any City players in those first batch of internationals, Danilo Ederson Fernandinho and Jesus where all amazingly ommitted.

Plus his previous history managing teams in the Abu Dhabi, and the corruptness of anyone tied to Sheikh Mansour and Man City to do anything to get an advantage.

It's iffy AF.

So Firmino payed 85 mins or so in a slow enough paced game and scored, Mane played for 10 mins, Fabinho for 5
What the hell is all the moaning about ?
Our players all came through, scored a few goals, we have kept players sharp and the confidence should be up.  Back at Melwood in the next day or 2 sharp. It's all good.

Good to hear no injuries also it's not so much the game time that is the problem it is the lengthy travelling that takes it out of the players.

How heavily worked were Spurs key players?

Kane played two full games I think. I saw Eriksen played the full 90 for Denmark last night. Alli played both games I think. Dier went off injured and I saw that Aurier did too.

Did their Belgians play? Think Son and the likes of Lamela and Lucas Moura weren’t involved.

But the International Manager Conspiracy only applies to us!

I think it's a little unfair to think the City players being exempted from Brazil's friendlies at the start of the season (under the proviso of 'giving youth a chance') is conspiratorial. Only Fernandinho was an experienced player. Ederson, Danilo and Jesus would have been prime candidates for selection to fight to take over from the more experienced regulars

I think we need to relax a bit when it comes to firmino. Firmino generally plays well when he has constant football. And its international football. The pace is so much slower to this league.

So just chill out. He should be fine for the spurs game.

This season Firmino generally gets subbed early, for the inferior Origi (no offence intended, obviously), when he's been playing constant football.

Spurs will at least be similarly affected, given Kane's minutes, but it doesn't mean liverpool fans shouldn't have an issue with Firmino being run into the ground in a meaningless friendly to make his federation some dirty dollars.
