Burnley (H) - 1
Leicester (A) - 3
Newcastle (A) - 3
Man Utd (H) - 1

Can see Dyche coming to frustrate you and possibly nick a goal from a set piece through Robbie Brady's excellent left foot. Other than that, I expect you to breeze past Leicester and Newcastle (Rafa will lay down for you, surely? ;) ) and then I'm confident we'll put on a better display at Anfield than we did last season when we stopped playing after 25 minutes, but I still see a score draw.

Burnley (H) - 1

All spot on minus the City game but who would have predicted that asswhooping anyway.

8 in 5 games is below Top 4 level. We seriously need to up it if we have to compete with the teams who've shown serious intent so far.

Leicester (A) - W
Newcastle (A) - D
Man United (H) - D
Spurs (A) - L
Huddersfield (H) - W

I haven't been this pessimistic even during our slump last season and it's another 8 points I'm predicting, but we need to do a lot better than that. Another 8 points and we'll be chasing the Top 4 pack from way behind.

100% hope I'm completely wrong about that match but Klopp doesn't adjust the game plan regardless of opposition and Senor Park El Busso does - will probably be 00, 0-1

Hopefully that works out to be a jinx for a 4-0 thumping for those deluded Mancs

Watford (A) - 3
Crystal Palace (H) - 3
Arsenal (H) -
Man City (A) -
Burnley (H) - 3

We need 9 or more from the first five.

1 point behind. Slightly disappointing as we had the chance to be ahead before the Burnley game. It's not great, but it's alright. With Leicester, Newcastle, Man U, Tottenham and Huddersfield coming up, we need another 9. We really have to beat Newcastle and Huddersfield. So...

Leicester - 3
Newcastle - 3
Man U -
Tottenham -
Huddersfield - 3

We should be at 18 points or more after 10 games.

Leicester (A) - W - think we can do them this time, their title buzz has worn off and key players gone or wanting out. Hopefully they try to attack us so we can kill them on the counter.
Newcastle (A) - L - Rafa's in his groove again, not a good time to meet them.
Man United (H) - D - Next stop, Anfield... psssshhhhh... mind the step.
Spurs (A) - W - They'll attack us, and hopefully that and their Wembley curse will be their undoing.
Huddersfield (H) - W - they had a good start against poor opposition, by the time we meet them they'll be really struggling with PL level football. Could be a battering. Which of course means we'll probably gift them two goals and eke out a heart-stopping 3-2 with them hitting the crossbar from a last-minute corner, or something like that.

I usually don't do this, so i'll give it a try

Leicester (A) Loss - Like a repeat of last season's game, the space in behind the defenders will be exploited by Vardy's speed
Newcastle (A) - Win - Won't be vintage but we'll get the job done, much like the win at West Brom earlier this year.
Man United (H) - Draw - We'll concede early and eventually get a hard fought equaliser
Spurs (A) - Loss - We'll be going toe to toe with them but the defense will eventually concede and we'll collapse
Huddersfield (H) - Win - We'll perform well but eventually concede, giving the game a nervy finish

The change is cast

Leicester (A) - Loss - I think we'll beat them in the league cup and then they'll do the big "bounce back" and beat us in the league.

Newcastle United (A) - Draw - Rafa will take a point. He's likely already preparing for us.

Man United (H) - Loss We struggle against teams who sit deep & play on the break with big lads. I think we'll get beat 1-0. Dog of a game. Dreading it already.

Spurs (A) - Win They're shit at Wembley & we always seem to play well against them.

Huddersfield H) - Win They play like us, but not as well. Our lads are better than their lads and they do very little of the stuff we hate.

7 points. Not good enough really but when you've got such a poor defence you can't expect much more. Tough little run.

The Mancs game is a tough one to call. On the one hand they have a bit more confidence now which should play into our hands. Rather than the extreme bus parking team we have seen over the past few years they may actually attempt a little bit of football on the odd occasion and give us some space to work with.

On the other hand they only really score scruffy goals for crosses or rebounds. These are exactly the types of goals we only ever concede. Hard to see them not knocking one of two shite goals in.

Having said all that, we have way too much firepower so a victory is still the likely outcome.
