Jose is still talking about it, makes it even sweeter
« on: July 27, 2010, 10:12:10 pm »
The self proclaimed special one is at it again as Real prepare for a game out here in California. I went to read what he had to say and found this.  Made me chuckle.

Jose Mourinho, the iconic soccer coach, thinks it's high time the sport used instant replay for goal controversies.

"I'm one of the people that can cry a little," the new boss of Real Madrid said in a conference call Monday, in advance of his team's game at Candlestick Park. "I lost a Champions League game because of a goal that shouldn't have counted. Please, (let's use) technology."

In the second leg of the Champions League semifinal in 2005, Mourinho's Chelsea club lost 1-0 on a goal by Liverpool's Luis Garcia that Mourinho insisted didn't cross the goal line. Reports at the time, however, said TV replays were inconclusive.

If you tell a lie enough times, people start to believe it!

Let them re-wright history. Let them tell their propaganda. We don't care.

When people ask me why I'm against technology in football I quote this incident as one of my main reasons. He will forever bitch and moan about that and that makes it all the sweeter.

And btw, I'm Irish and even Thierry Henry can't cheat his way into convincing me technology should be introduced...

No, the man is already lining himself up for the Manchester United manager post. He will undoubtedly go there after he wins the La Liga with Madrid and is sacked following a public row with the Spaniard Perez.

“Chelsea moaned about it. Mourinho still does. I laugh. Chelsea's complaints are ridiculous. If it wasn't a goal Petr Cech would have been red-carded for bringing down Milan Baros. What would Chelsea have made of that? Down to 10 men, facing a penalty. Liverpool could have won 4-0. Chelsea got off lightly. They should keep quiet.”

Hello 2005! So irrelevant & immature how he continuously ignores the fact that it would have been a red card for the keeper and a penalty anyway.  Can just picture an elderly Jose sitting in his chair, rocking back and forth, in his senile, delusional self muttering "It was not a goal" over and over.   Get over it Maureen!  :wave

I lost a Champions League game because of a goal that shouldn't have counted

That sentence tells you all you need to know about Mourinho. The man is so self absorbed that he is actually repulsive

It wasn't his Chelsea team that lost that semi, no no no, it was him.

His first press conference at Chelsea he declares "I'm a European Champion"

So the Porto players that actually went out and won the fucking thing had nothing to do with eh Jose?

It saddens me that there are people in our fanbase that would welcome this absolute fucking c*nt as our manager
