Is it not just giving us back the tickets that were taken away last year?

Hi, last time I was at Anfield was against Spurs in 1994, match 5 years after Hillsborough and leaflets action
Remember it as the day of yesterday. Went with my backpack and traveled 1.5 days.

Anyway, now 46 I try to get tickets for a "decent" price for this match (any seat beside home side hardcore Hornets...) and not 300 euros all 1000 football ticket and football travel sites ask for. As Watford is during my son's holiday I would like to go with him by rail to London and go to a match with him for first time.

Anyone knows a reliable site where to get 2 tickets below "300"...?

Although I am one out of thousands looking for a ticket I appreciate your reply.

Thnx

Make accounts on watfords site

buy a ticket for another match (£5 kids ticket will do)

wait for liverpool tickets to drop to 1 credit

Few reds i know have done that who wont get one in the away end

Few teams are if you have 1 credit or an account with them prior to the fixture going on sale

City use to be in that boat 2 years ago
united went to general sale to brand new members this season on the thursday, reds bought em
burnley
newcastle
brighton
southampton

I know people with away credits who buy home end tickets for burnley and newcastle because they dont like the away end, not sure why they do it at burnley

Yeah Fulham last year was just have a membership

Fulham even have a "neutral" section in the other half next to the away fans

Often ends up half away fans half tourists, they implemented it to increase tourism there

Sometimes clubs say no one with a Liverpool postcode or something to try stop away fans, but most of ours don't live in Liverpool anyway

Was a big fuss with West Ham on general sale this year, cancelled everyone's general tickets unless they could prove they supported West Ham, wanted proof they had been to a previous game or a photo in West Ham gear  ;D ;D ;D

yeah that’s where I was last season, was really fun and filled with reds, I was on the end row to actual away section only had a steward standing on every few steps between so felt like an away end. Can see why it wouldn’t work in more stadiums though

Looks like it's impossible to do now - only game on "general" sale is the Leicester game which is after our game.

I used a mate's log-in who's a Watford fan and I can tell you there weren't many tickets available for those on 1 credit to begin with. I did get one in the end - £30 bargain.

Wish I'd thought of that earlier.

For next season, does anyone know which PL clubs effectively have a general sale (by which I mean you don't need to pay to register)? I know West Ham don't and I managed to get tickets for that.

I'm still hopeful that City drop theirs to general sale once hundreds of their STHs return their tickets. There must be quite a few who would rather spend the day doing something else rather than watching the champions elect grace their pitch.

Just beware when doing that. Some clubs do check with the other club, whether the person is registered with them or not, and cancel the tickets.

Only if they have a returns sale as they don't always, as was the case with Spurs this season.
