Problem with Drenthe is his ego, he's a good player but he hits some form and it goes to his head badly.

That's absolutely magical stuff from Ruiz.
"My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea and he conquered the bloody world! And that's what I wanted; for Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in."

Nice to see Jol not rushing Ruiz into the prem and easing him in.

Doubt he's even aware of the word's existence. Great goal from Ruiz as well.

It would seem that Drenthe might be the best Royston to ply his trade on merseyside recently. Not exactly a massive achievement though.

One goal and two assists for Gervinho, as well as being a pest to the defense.

Did anyone else hear the Arsenal fans mocking the Stoke free kick as it was drifted in, as if they had messed it up? Not as good as the aborted Hooooof when Keane scored but still funny.

What about Rooney being absolutely motionless and anonymous instead of the usual 'look how hard he works, look at the effort, oh just look at how great he is'

I noticed that.

He goes down, they show a replay and it clearly shows no contact at all....silence.

If that had been a City player, chances are it would have been mentioned.

Thought Rooney did really well for them yesterday to be honest. He was working his socks off, playing wherever he was needed (especially after the red card) and some of his defensive tactics were bang on.
Enemy, at that time, and now, I cant think of anything good to say about her. She's still being a c*nt
