This may be one for a technical thread but can one of you kind souls help a Luddite out? I've downloaded this weeks, it's sitting in my podcast folder and playing on my laptop now...however when I sync my ipod it's not transferring across. Am I doing something stupid?
Is the box on the left hand side ticked?

If it is, try unticking all the other one's and then try and sync it.
You change all the lead, sleeping in my head, as the day grows dim, I hear you sing a golden hymn.

Yeah. Weird its the only podcast in there yet I have a random Teenage Fanclub one on my ipod that I can't shift. Ah well, it's a good listen so far anyway but was planning it for my commute tomorrow!

I might be in the minority here, but I didn't think today's was up to the usual standard. The Carra discussion was good, and it was interesting to hear about the Sachin article and Rory's view on Sachin but I think you lingered too much on those media articles. They were both bollocks and imho didn't really merit the time they got. I'd rather have heard more of your views on the game/discussion points.

Was also interesting to hear Rory basically confirm that Journo's have personal agendas. If they like a manager, they're favourable. If they don't they're gits.

Still thoroughly enjoyed it though. Oh, and the predictions at the end are naff.

Enjoyed the round-table discussion as always. I find it a worry that the defence is not settled. In some ways that can't be helped because of injuries, in others there are question marks over individuals and possible combinations. It's a tough one for Kenny and his staff, but I hope they manage to crack it sooner rather than later. I wonder what Pepe makes of it all. We've only played a handful of games and there's miles to go yet, but for me the composition of the defence is a nagging worry.

I don't get the fuss either, he's only said Kenny can't hack managing Liverpool after our first loss of the season, in pretty much the same way he couldn't hack it when he left the first time round

That makes me want to roll my eyes not shake my fists.

The Carra discussion was good,

 - 'discussion' ? - it was like that scene from airplane when they are all lining up to beat the crap out of someone

its weird - everybody agrees with everybody else - whats in the cake?

I actually thought it was quite balanced, Rob Gutmann and Neil Jones both fighting the corner for the vice-captain.

Don't know how you can claim that, really. Just because people aren't ranting and raving at each other doesn't mean people aren't disagreeing; look at the Bellamy or Meireles discussion from a few episodes back.

That's what I mean, it was an interesting debate that could have gone further. You could argue that it's a shame it's taken a 'negative' to have that conversation though as Carra's future and its relevance to LFC is particularly interesting regardless of his current form.

PS to TAW in general - "Oodles of Savage" still has me and my mates in stitches. Absolute belter of a line.

has, is the word has caused a mass brawl......but its  a long story .. and thinking about it they weren't really buddhists and it wasn't a monastery ,
more like a chip shop on dale street but the idea's sound - I think I've always wanted to be in one of those wild west saloon brawls...........

I couldn't disagree more. This weeks was the best imo, but I'm enthused by all of them about the level of discussion and differences of opinion. I love it. I have to say, individually they can say something which someone would be pounced upon on here. And I have to nod my head in your direction too L6 Red - I know you weren't on this weeks but the previous podcasts have demonstrated that if someone's opinion differ from yours you have to listen and discuss, the response needn't be 'you biff' or 'go the fucking match yous'.

Its not by manufacture or design that these podcasts are outstanding, its simply knowledgeable Reds sharing thoughts and listening to other peoples opinions sensibly and proves that no individual is always right.
