Making a makeshift 6-pin PCI-e cable?
« on: June 16, 2018, 06:46:02 pm »
It can be done, I've read it is possible, but am a little confused about the pinout.

I have an external GPU and need to run power to it - I have to make a 6pin to 6pin connector, but as I say, I just need to double check it with someone ITK before I do.

I have a deadline tomorrow morning and I can't order one unfortunately.

The cable I have is a 20pin to 20pin modular motherboard power supply connector.

Any advice before I blow my shit up?
