Both great places as far as I'm concerned - only been down here for 2.5 years.

On a different note, pretty sure I spotted some gannets off Maenporth today. There was a lot of activity with gulls and maybe seals, maybe there was a shoal of fish. Oh, and spotted the ISS again so not a bad day (if you don't have much of a life)

Hi all, I use http://www.heavens-above.com/PassSummary.aspx?satid=25544&lat=53.35055&lng=-3.01025&loc=Liverpool&alt=0&tz=GMT for the timings. I don't know of the link works though!

Next sighting 30th April 21:56 moving from the west to south. Only 20 mins away

Think I finally saw it - like a very fast moving plane but looking 3 times higher.

(I also thought I saw something strange but can't remember exactly what...)

Saw it too. Was surprised how bright and fast it was. A plane nearly threw me though but fortunately I could distinguish the two because they were going in opposite directions

think i caught sight of it tonight. I'm based in southend, it was moving bloody fast, looked bright orange and was heading 'roughly' east to west.

according to this site: spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/view.cgi?country=United_Kingdom&region=England&city=Canvey_Island it was spot on for timing and for duration. Bit difficult to judge true direction due to my house being surrounded on all sides.

Okay mate. Any chance you have the direction wrong? It comes up in the west, not too far from where the Sun sets and then goes down on the opposite side passing through the south.

The ISS doesn't appear as orange lights. It would be a single dot of white light moving across the sky.

Both tricky to see though, ISS is 21 degrees, Shuttle at 12.

Only 2 ISS sightings left (for now I assume?)

Fascinates me every time it goes over, will be looking for the shuttle tonight as well, never seen that before, logic says that it will be just as fast but not as bright (smaller than the ISS so less reflection)
