Doesn't have to be the best or even the most significant goal scored by an LFC player, but if you could pick one goal to relive, what would it be?

My favourite goal is probably Luis Garcia's vs Juventus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYYwQY9s0hA

Although we were already a goal to the good, I love how happy he looked after scoring it, and it wasn't bad to look at either.

Or maybe it would be Peter Crouch's first goal for us vs Wigan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yzx8u4F4mM

A horrible, horrible goal but thanks to a comedy of errors (and the dubious goals panel) the big man finally got off the mark!

Love Fowler's against Villa in the league, when he flicked the ball through Staunton's legs and smashed it passed Bosnich!
Murphy's lob over Barthez in the last few minutes at castle greyskull always cheers me up too!!

Gerrard's against Villa in 2000/01 was special. Pass-and-move between Gerrard, Murphy and Litmanen (I think) plus a great finish!

Ryan Babel v Arsenal (I LOVE breakaway goals where the crowd go 'GO OOOOONNN! YEAAAAAAHHH!' etc)
Mark Walters v Auxerre (yes, just because at the time it was an amazing comeback)
John Barnes v Aston Villa (last minute, wrong foot, strolling along, bang)

Need a few days to dwell on this.

Barnes V QPR when he ran from the half way line
Robbie Fowler v Villa @ old trafford when he Volleyed it just outside the box
Robbie Fowler V Alaves
Dalglish v Arsenal when it was back healed to him
Macmanaman v Arsenal when he hit a half volley over seaman
Torres v Chelsea his first goal for his this was the time when we new we had a real player for us.

Totally agree, despite the goal scorer turning out to be a right c*nt this is still one of my favourites. The atmosphere that day was something else.

Gerrard vs. West Ham, will always be my favourite, the best strike I've ever seen from any player.

Also Hyypia's header against Arsenal in the 4-2 CL- game, as good as I've ever seen.

It began a lifelong obsession.

Has to be Terry McDermott`s in the `77 euro cup final, the first ever LFC goal i saw,it was on the news the next day,then being asked at school that day who i supported and thank god i said LFC, untill then i had no idea about teams, thanks mum for having the news on that day !!

Two goals for me.

Gerrard vs. Olympiakos, because it was perfect all the way starting with the commentary down to the steward hugging Rafa. It's even better looking back knowing how significant that goal was in terms of our progress (not only on our way to the final, but as a team under Rafa Benitez). I was watching that game with a mate and when we were 1-0 down at halftime I was still confident of going through telling him how Sinama will score. That goal played a part in the final when at halftime I got a text from a mate asking what's wrong with Liverpool. I replied "Don't worry, it will finish 3-3"... In some moment of complete madness I deleted that text some months later...

The other one is Mellor's winner vs. Arsenal. We had played really well in that game and basically everyone had settled for the 1-1. Neil Mellor pops up and it's 2-1. Made even better by the e-season coverage that was available afterwards with Steve Hunter going absolutely bonkers and Colin Wanker coming on for Liverpool in the end...

- Smicer in Istanbul (The strike, the celebration, the realisation hitting everybody that Liverpool could win)
- Gerrard v Olympiakos (you just have to include it, it was the catalyst for all the progress we made under Rafa)
- Benayoun v Fulham (a tale of what might have been Im afraid)

Also an honourable mention for Luis Garcia v Juventus and Mellor v Arsenal

4 of those were scored in the same season!
