You could probably get a parking fine for less.

That used to happen (and maybe still does). Share a car of 4. Take your chance each week. Not going to be caught every week. Split the fine between you. Pay within 14 days.

Elm Tree pub on Westminster Rd £5
Frances De La Sales Salop St £8 - only for LFC matches as used for EFC match days.

Just 2 I walk past all the time.

10-12 min walk from Anfield when cut through the park.

Thanks

Is the car park between Notre Dame and the Stanley still open? Hard to get out of it after but close to the ground.

Strange that it's the end of November and this is the first match of the season for us.

Parked elsewhere last night but went for a mooch around this morning and the car park is still there, about halfway up between what used to be Notre Dame and the Stanley.

Parked there a lot last season, not much good for a quick getaway after the match but if you're not in a hurry it's not too bad.

Joke today. Usually park in the little car park as you walk up to Anfield on the Arkles side. Used to be 12 quid but not the bigger car park opposite is only permit only they know people panic more to get a space and are asking for 25 quid. As it was freezing and the traffic was bad we just paid the 25 quid but parking has become almost impossible near the ground now.

He said 'we have spaces but the boss wants 25 quid today.'... Was going to drive off but don't know anywhere now where you can park without walking a fair bit and didn't fancy it in the cold. Next time might just get the bus.

The boss wants his £12, we will see what we can get anyway with.
Our usual free spot is full all the bloody time now thanks to the expansion!

Still plenty of spaces if you know where to look

There is another option. Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple.

On the clubs website it lists St Domingo's car park as one of the 3 suggested, is there a reason it hasn't been suggested that much in this thread?

Also Last time I went to the match I parked in the car park on the corner of Priory Rd. Is that car park still going?

Cheers.

Just so people know, the extra match-day residents only parking signs have finally gone up in some streets off Anfield Road. Were there last night.

I haven't seen anyone checking the parking permits at all this season.

Not to say that it means you can all park freely, but like, honestly haven't seen one.

I saw a couple of traffic wardens giving loads of tickets at the Leeds game.  They were in their element.  This was in a residents parking area

Drove for the Stoke game for the first time this season and paid £15 for the car park next to Goodison (Goodison now permit only as mentioned above). Really quick getaway as I was close to one of the exits. Can't believe someone paid £25 on the last page!

Again, find my post on previous page about parking at L4 1SR by Saddle Inn. It's on Goodison side of the ground, you can see the new Main Stand when you park, and either £6 attended in the school or just park on the road. Quick getaway for city centre, tunnels, or motorways. Anyone who pays £10 or more to park must be crazy.

I park by Asda, Queens Drive. L4 9SL - 1.3mile straight walk and free parking. Easy to get back on Queens Drive for M62 or East Lancs.

I dont understand why anyone pays for parking at the match.

i dont understand the current parking situation around the stadium. Stanley park could easy charge people to park but yet they keep it for corporate only. I know people who are non playing staff of the club who arent even allowed to park there. God knows whos parking there then cos there isnt enough corporate to fill the car park. Then the school next door is corporate aswell. Best bet is to get your daughter to go out with a player. All sorted then. Should build a multi storey on stanley park everyone happy then

Except it would be ugly, block light......  :P

There was talk of an underground car park at one point - the corporates could use that if there was one, and disabled - like Arsenal, But given they don;t care about fans, why would they?!  :-\

But I don;t get why they need both those large car parks and the Isla Gladstone one too.....
