Last thing we need in the middle of the busiest period of the season is a match against Everton, United, Man City etc..low profile game against lower league opposition is desirable

Away to Blackburn/Blackpool/Preston/Stoke would be alright by me -  a Championship club allowing us freedom to mix up the team a bit, but not too far away either.

I'm a traditionalist, so I hate this.

For me, an FA Cup 3rd Round draw is not the same unless it's being held on The One Show from a cricket clubhouse in Northampton in between interviews with Gyles Brandreth telling the history of caterpillars and Donny Osmond plugging his re-released Christmas album.

I enjoyed the league cup draw in Morrisons personally. When they do them in the middle of the night from the Far East it's fun too.

The question is why is it on ITV4 in the first place? Have the BBC lost the rights or are they sharing them with ITV.

Could realllllllyyyyy do with a generous one here, obviously gonna be missing most of our attack anyway so it'd be nice if we got a tie where we could give a rest to Bobby or Jota too. We also might have a 2 legged league cup semi to be dealing with as well.

Probably a premier league team away though.

Bitter? Probably. But it happens every time.

Nailed on. I'll be gobsmacked if we don't get a PL team.

The one saving grace is that most of them are shit, and the powers that be will likely want to keep City and us apart. That still leaves Chelsea, West Ham, and any other team capable of raising their game against us. (So no Man United, Newcastle, Everton, Southampton, Norwich etc, but perhaps Palace, Leeds, Leicester, Villa, Wolves, Brentford or even Burnley.)
