Nearly got stuck again, but got there eventually. Probably wins further given a smooth passage

Think that’s as good a line up for a mile race in a long time. First 4 all Very good horses, imagine Kameko will be better over 10f now or a stiffer mile with a break neck gallop

On ITV they're saying it's a hard luck story but I don't think he was beating Mohaather there no matter what sort of passage he got. If I was to say anything about a jockeys ride Keane maybe kicked a little early on Siskin but that's pulling hairs.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Having a stab @ Thirsk TONIGHT

16:30: Digital - Kevin Ryan on fire this should oblige.

17:30: With Thanks - Haggas still going well. Short odds but should win. Claiming jockey is good value.

18:00: Wahoo e/w - Now this is interesting one. Had a come back run at Haydock which he needed. Back to 7f today and should come on a bit. The negative is Michael Dodds is a very difficult trainer to handle on usually if their not fancied they dont run a race so I'm keeping it small but I think this could run well and at least make the frame.

20:00: Moonlighting e/w - Kevin Ryan is good form and this should run a good race in this low grade.

Toro Strike won nicely. Richard Fahey has his team in rude health, definitely worth keeping onside at the minute.

How did no one put up Mrs Milner 14/1 at Galway!

Have backed Al Aasy in the Gordon Stakes, English King might be too good but think 5/1 seems a good price. Also like Magic Wand at a similar price for the Nassau

Magic Wand will give her running, as she always does but Fancy Blue is getting all kinds of weight in that race. If she only runs to her current mark (improvement is still distinctly possible) something would have to run to a level in the mid 120s to beat her. Not sure there's anything of that quality in the race if I'm honest.

Early Doors for Mark Walsh & Joseph O'Brien win the Galway Plate:

Amazing how much they use the whip in Ireland. They certainly dont hold back even for the minor places.

Yazaman in a single for me tomorrow.

This is an amazing card @ Goodwood today.  Lots of nice horses on display. Had a few 2nd's yesterday so hoping for better.

Here are some selections and thoughts:

2:15 Yazaman - Kodiac 2yo for Mr. Haggas (still going well).  Has the form to win this contest.

2:45 Khalifa Sat - There are a few stats based negatives about the Fav & 2nd Fav which I wont go into so next best is Khalifa Sat. 2nd in the Derby @ 60/1 can and should be able to go one better here.

3:15 Nazeef - I have backed Nazeef several times and she is rapidly improving filly having landed a Group 1 last time out. Up in trip here and she will hopefully be OK. Trainer John Gosden knows what it takes to win the Nassau stakes having won it on 4 occasions. Big danger is probably Magic Wand (AP O'Brien).

4:20 - The Fav is by leading stallion Kodiac BUT Kodiac's record at 7f for 2yo's is poor and consequently the Favourite is too short.

I like the look of DREAMS UNWIND for Mark Johnston/S De Sousa and by leading UK Stallion Dansili (now retired!).  She shaped well on debut @ Newbury staying on under pressure to finish runner up to a potentially smart Dubawi filly.. She should improve and go close here. This looks a solid e/w bet at around 17/2. I remain hopeful the odds can be landed  8)

Oisin Murphy blames himself for "jockey error" aboard Kameko in Sussex Stakes

Silly sod got boxed in on the rail and would have gone close with a clear run.

I’ve done Al Salt in the 1:45. Hoping his mark is as lenient as it seems.

I do like him. Remember him beating Tilsit at Newcastle and that came out and won by 19 lengths next time, albeit nothing Tilsit beat is rated higher than 60 odd I don't think.

Mr. Haggas in good form.  Will be an interesting race.  Actually they all are today. Very informative. I should be able to see them all thanks to Betfair! :)   [All free to air]

I will probably have an interest in Zabeel. Wouldn't surprise me if we have the 1-2.

2-3 a 50/1 shot pipped Zabeel to the post!   :no

Very encouraging run though. Found plenty under pressure.

He boxes himself in far more than he used to, personally if he doesn't have a world-class horse I never fancy him to win at big events.

I’m not entirely convinced Magic Wand wasn’t there as a pacemaker, gave Fancy Blue the perfect lead in and then stepped aside politely when she’d done as much as she could.

Moore is worse than Dettori, without any shadow of a doubt. Horses drag him over the line. Dettori is unbackable unless he’s on one that’s highly likely to go very close in a group race. Will never go near him again in a handicap.

I'm hoping today Buick has a good day because it seems he's riding some horses that I like the look of..

13:45:

The Favourite is too short and I think can get beat.

Lots of value around (big prices). I've gone for Anna Nerium e/w (Huge price 40/1 on Betfair... that is insane from the layers i'm sorry) and Althiqa WIN (Godolphin).

I think Godolphin's is the most likely winner looking at the stats they seem pretty good to me.   I have managed to secure 8/1 with Betfair's Sportsbook.

16:20 Zamaani -Trainer IN form. Like this ones chances.

16:55 Sarsaparilla - Gosden/Godolphin a powerful combination in a weak Maiden.

@Red Star

I know we're mad with Gary Moore with his 50/1 shot beating Zabeel but I've spotted something that might make amends.

He runs  Capricorn Prince in 20:25 (Lingfield) and its currently Favourite.  His string is in good form as we have seen and this should win. Hopefully some compensation for yesterday's debacle. It will be carrying my cash anyway later on.

Good luck everyone.

Marquand with another masterclass in the saddle today, he's different gravy. Should've had a treble after Moore and Tilsit nearly put him through the rail. The policing of interference in Britain and Ireland is absolutely pathetic. 5 days ffs? Should be sat at home for a month. Somebody is going to be seriously injured one of these days.

One I like today:

15:15 Newmarket  Expressionism: Filly by Galileo (super Stallion) for Godolphin/Buick ... I like the breeding and connections here. It's strange to see Godolphin having a Galileo as I thought the Sheikh was boycotting Coolmore  :o

Win or eachway. I'm going for the win because there's only 7 runners..  Looks like she could be a nice price.
