Think hes started light training or something along with Lucas and Moreno and will be back for the next game. That was from the article about the training camp anyway

Didn't the Owl force Gerrard to go and be assessed by the England doctors a few years back?

Yeah..at the time shit coat and gin soak were taking the piss, pulling half their squads for mysterious knocks...of course hodgson was far too cowardly to challenge either of them so he makes an injured Gerrard ride the train to London to 'prove' he's injured.

The best thing was seeing it pop up on opposition forums and twitter accounts claiming "more cringeworthy schmalz from the redshite" and the like.  Made me laugh every time - who on earth could possibly have thought that was meant to be taken seriously?

That is a good enough reason for us to keep them going . ;D ;D

On Firmino, I just feel that he now seems to have a clearer idea on his positioning and role , seems a lot more comfortable.

I think we Liverpool fans exist in a strange plane of existence where stuff like that is both shared amongst us for comedy value, and intended seriously.

Many LFC fanatics live in a sort of romantic nostalgic bubble that magically protects them from the worldly sensation of cringe, while many others of the modern generation buzz of that image of us in a sort of ironic pisstake jolly-up that makes supporting the club quite a funny experience, rather than merely a constant hope-inspiring-&-dashing bi-polar exercise in exquisitely slow-cooked masochism.

I would simply be some sort of higher being.

Who knows I maybe powerful enough to predict Sturridge will get injured again at some point. But that is some next level shit right there.

Amazing how much effort Rodgers put into improving his image while managing LFC (teeth, weight, wardrobe).

Praying we can get him on the pitch, otherwise we'll be losing a goalscorer for another water carrier.

I personally wouldn't risk him, if he's not fit then leave him at home to recover. Can't afford to take him, have him work his socks off and in the process of that cause more harm to himself and then lose him for longer.

the Europa league is basically all we are playing for now though isn't it, is it not worth the risk? otherwise we are just protecting him to get run into the ground in the Copa America or whatever.
