What's the craic with this online? '18 is a bit too pricey for me at the minute, if I get a £10 copy of '17 is there likely to still be a decent number of people to play against or will most have migrated over to '18?

Looking for something akin to the online seasons on FIFA (without the acute frustration). Not fussed about any other online features really.

Also do edits, patches, updates etc carry over to online?

On PS4.

you have another year online (I think) but no new challenges and some features (from Myclub) not updating.  All of the casual fans would have already moved on.  I am fairly good (not great) and its so frustrating now the majority of the time you are either playing guys who are awesome or beginners who just got the game.

Personally I will wait a week or so and pick it up when its nearer the £20 mark - also need PS+ to play online and the only reason I need this would be for Pro.

Pretty sure you can press Y / Triangle to randomise your team. Although I assume you mean that both players randomise. That would be cool indeed.

Yeah they made the same mistake last year with Claudio Bravo in the intro,

That's the problem with having such an emphasis on a specific team, not a big deal but should be Brazil vs Germany or something to avoid having a video out of date before it launches

I did last year they were very good. Pretty sure it's free though 2/3 weeks after they release the option files anyway, so you don't have to pay.

Just played my first game at Anfield.  It's pretty realistic in that I lost 2-3 with a Lovren own goal winner for A. Madrid  :lmao.

No online stuff as of yet mind so squads are well out of date.  Think the servers are having a meltdown.

I've been keeping track on r/WEPES, refraining from pulling the trigger until the servers are up.

God Master League is a joke if this is true,  yes the gameplay is grand but can't they bother putting even the slightest effort into the game modes, putting me off buying this if you can't even release a finished product.

https://www.reddit.com/r/WEPES/comments/705gle/the_state_of_transfers_on_this_game/

Will just hold off a few weeks or months,  usually a price drop and hopefully some sort of patch.

Heard somehow we're in the Europa League? What the hell is that about? Is it because the game is programmed to only accept 4 teams in the CL from England? Daft.
On Sterling:
Were spurs not happy to pay like £7-9m for him? I'd be giving Levy a call tonight to give him an option buy.
He's so over rated its ridiculous. Every time he plays he looks completely out of his depth and has done for about 9 months now.

The beta was fantastic, but the full game is really shite online. Every match is end to end, and there's no point even trying to play possession football when crosses are absolutely broken so all you have to do is spam them to get easy goals. Really disappointed actually.

It's just a massive chipped through ball to the wing and cross-fest online.

Don't even start me on them still having laggy stuttering.

This is getting better the more I play it to be honest.  Excellent game.

Keep seeing cool new wee animations and movements.  Played in the rain yesterday and there were players slipping and falling on their arse, it was ace.

Think I'm going to get this over FIFA this year.  Played both demos and FIFA 18 feels slightly different to 17 but still much of the same.  Pro Evo feels totally different and even though I can't get used to shooting with Square rather than Circle, I feel it's a better game to play.

Will definitely be downloading the option file if I get the game.

In the demo, I couldn't find how to, no.  In the full game I would expect you to be able to do that.

Any legit option files to download for PS4? Most of them seem to be missing the Bundesliga or up to date Premier League kits or whatever.

I want one thats got everything on it, but it might be a case of waiting a few weeks I think.

Best price for this on PS4? I enjoyed last years game but most people I know play FIFA so I struggle for online matches against mates, so I'm reluctant to pay £40+ like it is on Amazon.

Seen £34.85 on eBay, anyone seen cheaper?
