I had a call last week from someone claiming to be 'your water authority'.

He wanted to speak to me about the guarantee on our washing machine.

We've finally had confirmation that we've passed the pre tenancy checks for a house we viewed last Thursday, we're now waiting for the estate agents to sort out when we can move in.

The sooner the better as far as we're concerned!

Paul had never been till we went last week but I used to go kayaking there quite a lot though that's 20yrs ago now so we're excited to have a good look around before the hoards of tourists arrive 😁

I'd forgotten about the jets mate so that's another thing to look forward to and the dream of buying somewhere in France has resurfaced again the last few days but as a holiday home for us and an income.

It'll all depend on how much they value the house at and how quickly it sells.

Finally got round to claiming refund for a flight to Geneva that was cancelled last summer due to COVID. Only one way was cancelled, the return flight still went ahead (I wasn't going anyway so was hoping both would be cancelled).

Just got email from Easyjet and they have refunded me for both flights which I wasn't expecting....

I've had a lovely Mothers Day.  My son cooked me a brilliant roast dinner and it was just so nice.  Hard to put into words but had a lovely time today.

Tree surgeons here today cutting back pines trees. Had a chat and made them a cuppa each. One was on the phone and they others said he would want one sugar, others had none.
Made the tea and took it out, guy still on the phone turns out to be a Man Utd supporter and the mug with the sugar in was one of my Liverpool ones (only LFC mug I took out).

then the woman in front of me said do i want to go in front of her, which i replied 'are you sure?' and she said yes so i thanked her

then the woman in front of her said 'go in front of me'

then the woman in front of her and then the man in front of her and then the young girl in front of him all said the same 

i took longer saying thanks than i did to pay
