We’re worse against ten than 11 men.

Add in January ‘we have to be shite in this month’ tax, and Milderson - and voila.

If Trent is going to spend so much time in the middle, then just convert to a CM an dbe done with it.

Williams was far more dangerous during his time on the pitch

Poor performance - thought Williams and Jones were brilliant! January is gonna be tough without Mo and Mane. Positive to keep our first clean sheet in six games

That’s a fucking obscene performance and result. I’d love to see our overall stats against 10 men this season, I guarantee there’s no worse team in Europe at it.

In bad need of a new forward, never threatened 10 men arsenal at all. Depressing.
Having Welbeck try and mark Pirlo is ridiculous. It's like trying to get a golden retriever to stop a tennis ball machine.Because one is a machine designed for a very specific purpose that it is peerless at, and the other is a fucking dog.

Disappointing. So many ball losses, so few ideas. Terrible corner kicks.

Curtis should have played the whole game. Minamino, what was that? !!!

Absolute waste of everyone's time that, should have just been one leg afterall.

Shame there's no away goals or it would have still been a decent scoreline.

No urgency at all until injury time. Too reminiscent of that run of games at home where we couldn't hit a barndoor last season. Every single cross hit an Arsenal player all night - utterly pathetic. Needed Divock in there to offer at least some presence and get on the end of something.

50/50 shot of making the final next week.

Pathetic, we are clueless agaist a packed defence.

How Henderson stayed on the pitch is beyond me, we deserved no more than a draw.

You knew how this was going to end the moment Van Dijk booted the ball 10 yards out of play early in that second half. God help us until Mane and Salah return. We'll do well to stay in second place.

That was absolutely horrific. Not a single player comes out of that with any credit. As lazy, insipid, and uninspiring as can be.

Not much more needs to be said. Absolutely fucking dreadful, bordering on a disgraceful effort. Trying for 3 minutes at the end is a load of bollocks.

Pathetic.

The concerning thing is how predictable that was after Xhaka got sent off. We’ve always seemed to have issues breaking down a packed defence but at our best we always found a way through. We’ve lost that. Not having any creativity in midfield or a recognised striker contributes.

Henderson should be no where near the first team at the moment.

Hopefully we win the second leg, but we’ve lost our way since the start of December.

Dreadful that. Minamino has to score at the end there but we'd absolutely stunk the gaff out for the majority of the game so we are where we are. Personally I hope we never see milner and hendo start in midfield together ever again
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

that's pretty bad, a shit Arsenal team missing players and we can't even have a shot on target. Trent must have been imposter, constantly gave the ball away, constant shit corners, constant shit crossing, Robertson tried to mirror him on the other side. We have 2 huge centre backs going forward for corners and we fail to even get the ball past the first man.

Midfield was just shite, created fuck all.

Neco Williams was the most dangerous player, he should have started. Our forwards were so devoid of service throughout the game that they forgot to even try attacking the dangerous crosses Neco put in.

Curtis looked really good too.

This was a chance to save some legs in next weeks game, instead as numerous times this season we've fucked it.
Would sacrifice Fordy in a sacred Mayan ritual to have him as the next Liverpool manager

They're shit. Boring twats. At least at home they can't play like that.

If I was them I’d setup deep and just counter, we don’t look like breaking teams down like that l, and certainly not without Salah and Mane.

Jesus. The drop off is horrific. Minamino has no place in that team. Firmino did absolutely nothing. Considering that was 10 men, it’s the worst I’ve been for years.
I think the same, can't stand him, but if you could have a £1million pound cheque or steve bruces head hollowed out and filled with pound coins which would you have?

It was good to see Gomez get some minutes and Ox was a breath of fresh air.  That's about it.

Too many touches around their box and too much slowing it down.

Changing for who? Some amazing player on the bench?

I'm not a huge fan of Chamberlain, but for all his faults, he would have more to offer in a game like that than any of the starting midfield.

I'd rather have Williams at right back and Trent in midfield than Milner ambling about next to Henderson.

Keita puts in a performance like that and you can guarantee he's hooked at half time.

An awful game of football by both teams.

I’m guessing covid affected Trent, as he had a shocker. But so did many others.  Just a group of stranges out there, barely able to string 2 passes together.  And no energy (again could be covid related to an extent).

When your one creative play maker is your centre half, then that’s a problem.

We had loads of chances to win this and they had plenty of fortune that a couple of deflections and errors didn't end up in the back of the net. Minamino has to be putting away that empty netter. Poor result under the circumstances. A great night for Antonio Conte.

The same problems again as predicted

Curtis Jones was sublime near enough every time he got the ball, Neco showed some excellent play down the wing as well, left Tierney unable to cut out a number of good crosses.

That midfield is exactly what so many had worries about, slow, laboured and bereft of ideas and creativity. The Arsenal midfield is one of the worst i’ve ever seen come away from Anfield with something
