Mad how Kevin Keegans ultra offensive, gung-ho Newcastle team had conceded less goals than both ourselves and Man Utd at that point.

Nobody knows.  It's definitely not something you could find out by reading back on the last page of this thread.

Although, spanner in the works, he threw Keita and Mane in first game (and they both played a similar way at Salzburg)

van Dijk and Allison too, though in all those cases it was because we signed a top quality player in a position we were desperately lacking.

Came for lean pics

Left disappointed
As they were this time last week

Anyway looks like a good signing. The inevitable debut goal against The Ev should settle him in nicely

Seems like a natural replacement for Lallana, and plays a lot like Yossi for me...

Anyone actually watched him in more than just our games? Looks a cracking player, just wondering whether he has consistency to his game.

I haven't watched him outside our games but excited by what ive seen

9 goals and 11 assists in 22 appearances this season.

Double figures in goals in all his full seasons.  Yes it is a farmers league but he has 11 in 39 in Europe

I think this guy going to be fcking brilliant for us.

Welcome Takumi! Looking forward to see what he brings to this team. If we got a player who profiles like a dribbling Firmino (even if not to the same world-class level) then it's an absolute masterstroke by the club.

Farmers league or not.. that is some kind of production.

I agree. I saw enough at Anfield to know he will be the business for us. It's a can't miss signing.

What?

But but it’s 2020 and erm Mbappe...

Oh and this looks a very good signing. As someone else mentioned could possibly be the long term replacement for Lallana and bound to be on less wages, so as per usual very smart on the business side.

Looking forward to seeing him in a red shirt.
