Dennis Pennis was amazing and years ahead of his time.  Good idea to kill the character off relatively quickly without him getting stale.

Also because celebrities starting running off as soon as they saw him. He was hilarious though, I hope someone comes up with something similar soon, the amount of wanker celebs who need taking down a peg or two must have tripled since Pennis was about.

"hey, Russell Grant, can you read palms?"
"yeah"
"well read this..."
Pennis has "FAT c*nt" written on his palm.

Kaye's Pennis was just a straight rip from an Australian guy called Norma Gunston. Check him out on YouTube. I think he was big in the late 70s, early 80s. Kaye has never had an original idea in his life.

Kaye is brilliant, 'It's all gone Pete Tong' is testament to that.

Just looking back at the Pennis stuff, now, great memories.

Dennis Pennis was amazing and years ahead of his time.  Good idea to kill the character off relatively quickly without him getting stale.

He complained people from ITV and even his own colleagues from the BBC were warning security about him and having him removed.  Apparently the celebs were avoiding the British interviewers because he was annoying them so much.

Still think the Demi Moore one is his best line:

"If it wasn't gratuitous and it was, y'know, tastefully done would you ever consider keeping your clothes on in a movie?"

Cheers for these anyway, haven't watched him in years.

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

Always loved a bit of Pennis,  just been watching a few of his clips on YouTube.

The one where he's chasing Barry Manilow and his entourage down the street was ace.

BARRY!! BARRY!! You've dropped your handkerchief!!....Pennis then pulls out a bed-sheet from his jacket.   :lmao

He really had it in for Demi Moore didn't he.

Demi!! Have you ever considered injecting Silicon into your movies?...Maybe they wouldn't flop so much.

[At a press conference for Braveheart with Mel Gibson]
Dennis Pennis: [standing up] Uh, in the movie you play a guy with long hair, a sort of neanderthal barbarian.
Mel Gibson: Yeah.
Dennis Pennis: Being an Australian, you worry that might get you typecast?

There was one where he was at some Red carpet ceremony and he lunged at a celebrity with his Mic and shouted "Hey"

The celebrity looked pleased to be attracting attention and smiled at Pennis  with a "yes, Hello"

Pennis pushed him out of the way "get out of my way man" and went to someone else.

The original celebrity looked totally wounded

Wish I could find that clip of the Epic snub from Pennis :)

Pennis: "Do you think they will miss Stan Collymore, and his electrifying pace up front?"

Robbie Williams groaning and telling him to fuck off was brilliant.
'Despite their  cup pedigree - since they've returned to the top flight in 1962 - Everton have, after today's results, once again gone further in the FA Cup than their much vaunted neighbours. For the record it's Everton 23 Liverpool 22  and 7 ties in 52 seasons'

He terrorized Kevin Costner.

There's one in Venice where Costner trying to get away from Pennis, jumps in a Gondola with his security guards. Pennis is running down the side of the canal shouting daft things.

Costner shouts back as he finally escapes  "you can't walk on water you cock sucker!!"

The clip with Jim Carey was so funny.

Pennis: Just one autograph Jim please, just one go please.

Carey: Hell, go on then

Pennis scribbles his autograph on a piece of paper hands it to Carey and walks off.

In fairness Jim Carey laughed. :)

I always remember the one he did with Meatloaf. Meatloaf was sound and played it up, was funny if I remember.

I’d happily chin the c*nt now though just because of those victor chandler adverts.
