Carroll is far from the worst player on the pitch, he has actually been fairly decent, the man is just desperately unlucky.

Hopefully Adam off and Gerrard on as Adam is dogshit today.  Enrique the best player on display today.

The system with Carroll on is the problem, as well as him being lauded for his great aerial ability and looking motionless in the box and getting outjumped everywhere on the pitch.

Dwoning has been surprisingly good. Enrique amazing. Johnson very good.

Adam - an own goal and missed pen last two games. Gary Gillespie said he offers more than Alonso. Defo.

Get Adam, Henderson and Carroll off for Gerrard, Shelvey and Bellamy.
In fairness Gary Gillespie didnt say for which team (I hope)
Thats the second conceded corner at that end from adam doing a crap job at the near post same. 18% of goals conceded from his mistakes get someone at the front post who will fucking head the ball first rather that try that leg in the air crap

It's just frustrating with the amount of dithering every player bar Suarez does on the ball. No urgency, no confidence.
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

Not quite.

Although there are huge doubts there, it's not that bad yet.

It's just our play is so predictable and mechanical. There no spark, nothing inventive.

it shouldn't have been a foul, but yea.

it's unbelievable the people whinging in here. seriously. Andy did well aside from TWO misplaced passes. oh fucking well. its his first game back. he's looked hungry, he's looked to get back and help the defense. HE'S PUT SHOTS ON GOAL!

downing off? are you fucking kidding me? he's having his best game out there against a 17 year old. don't see why anyone can complain about that.

really, they looked no threat. they still look no threat, it was just an unfortunate O.G. we look a bit laboured in getting the ball back but at least the aren't anywhere near goal. Gerrard will come on for maxi sometime in this next half, sooner hopefully rather than later. not that maxi is having a bad game just gerrard is still 10x more of an influence.

How is it unbelievable people whinging, we are getting beat by a team at the bottom, with more players missing than us, with financial issues, with confidence issues with infinite more issues than us, if your not whinging at this then you;d be happy to see us go down, seen as blackburn will be come may.

wrong, if you do not have confidence to take a first time shot from just 2 yards, you better not play.

dont blame it on the officials? Pen denial, offside against Maxi, foul on Agger which linesman saw? No i wont blame it on the officials...

The ref has been extremely one sided in favour of ourselves.

useless midfield- adam and henderson are not controlling our attacks at all. its just fucking square pass after square pass and then fire it down the flank for someone to cross. Adam again proves he doesn't have the minerals to be a LFC player and carroll is still definitely shit. plus side- downing enrique maxi and suarez are playing well.

get adam and carroll out of here and stick gerrard and bellamy on. I would give adam morgan a run out over the oaf right now.

Carroll is awful.  I know he can't be Messi in every match, but I'd settle for him being even as good as Dembele or Ba or someone like that, just every once in a while.

Hopefully now that I've said that he'll score twice in the second half.

I'm glad some of you are on here and not at the ground because if that's what you call supporting the team...

To be fair, you can bet your life that people at this very moment are cursing Andy Carroll et al in the toilets and pie stands around the ground far worse than they are on here.

Why can't Dirk Kuyt get a game in this side? Wasn't he playing in a World Cup final not too long ago? Why does Henderson start ahead of him almost every game now? What has he been doing that's cememted his place in the side? He has such fragile confidence, he makes us play like a Carling Cup side with the way he passes backwards and sideways.  Get fucking Dirk on and let's play like we boss Anfield.  FFS.

We were worse at Wigan, defo.

Just as i've said so many times that midfield lacks any bite. Nothing in the centre.

Enrique, Johnson, Suarez, Downing all good.

Wouldn't blame Agger for teh corner, even if he didn't try the flick up he still would have given a corner away nowhere to go at all.

Garbage half! Could easily lose this because we are so crap in the final third. Downing looking to Babel for inspiration and Carroll is just doing what Andy Carroll shouldn't be doing.

Blackburn will sit back and if hold on. If we don't score at least 3 more. Steve Kean will back to his desk at Ewood and say Im still the man for the job.
Enrique is a don!
Just because the players on the pitch are playing badly, doesn't automatically make Dirk any better.

If Dirk was on in place of Maxi and the score was the same, people would be calling for Maxi. I don't think any of our squad are covering themselves in glory at the moment.

The same nervousness within the team (and fans) has been there at every home game since Sunderland.  We have to score early otherwise the heads drop which has happened again today.  Someone needs to sort the motivation of these players out.

To people saying "haul Carroll off, he's shite" blah blah

Would you care to tell me exactly what Carroll hasn't done which Suarez has? Both are equally as bad imo
His movement is off, the guy walks in the field as if he is walking his dog for a walk. At least Suarez tries, Andy Carroll has his chances given to him by luck and still can't score.

I'll put the game back on around 3 mins from time to see Kenny bring on Gerrard, Bellamy and Kuyt, then watch the team raise their game by about six gears only to hit the woodwork about 40 times before the ref blows the whistle!  :(
