Anyone using an older android box should have a look at installing this fork, you can install and test it without removing your current kodi.It also has different versions for the different chips.

I've not tried it myself but they get a lot of love.

Phoenix have ceased to exist and a few others have also disapeared overnight.

We may have reached the beginning of the end.

Yep. Zem, cCloudTV, SALTS and a couple others too. Fuck them. Let's wait and see first.

Is there any places online that talk about this or is it just from personal findings?

Phoenix is working fine for me here in Ireland.

Quick question, is there any way to customise the Add-ons section in Kodi 17.3? I've a quite a few addons but really just want 2 or 3 to pop up when I click into that section (Like Ontapp Tv guide, exodus & sportsnation). 17.3 doesn't appear to be customisable in this way.

My add-ons section just looks a bit clunky and want to clean it up.

Phoenix has definitely ceased you'll just be seeing a cached version.

 They werent even new films.

Loads of the hosts had a mass deletion effort last Thursday,Exodus is getting back upto speed now but I expect that it won't be around for much longer unless another dev takes it over.SALTS is moving repo later this week as it is being taken over by another dev, shouldn't see any change as the dev who is taking it over has virtually been running it all for the past couple of months.

Reaper hasn't gone,I just think that they are having trouble with the repo.Evolve is going nowhere but I am having trouble with streamarmy

Been using the Terrarium TV apk over the last few months, would highly recommend it as an alternative to Kodi.

Android apps Livenettv, uktvnow,Mobdro (blocks channels during football),solid streamz and swiftstreamz, they would also cover you for the footy.

I use the TV player app on my Amazon Fire TV. Can get it straight from Amazon appstore has TV guide and on demand. There's also a kodi add-on from Xunitytalk repo.

FilmOn TV

https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-install-ftv-filmon-for-xbmc/

Or Freeview

https://seo-michael.co.uk/install-freeview-kodi/

Should cover most free to view channels I'd imagine.

FilmOn hasn't worked for a while now as they want you to sign up for it and fuck that as it costs more than a decent IPTV sub.

Freeview only works out of the UK with a VPN.

Is that still working then? It's coming from the same source I think.

UK Turks used to be alright for live telly but is keeping a low profile at the moment it seems.

Yeah it is working & is from the same repo as filmon (xunity)  UKTurks came back yesterday.Freetvforall have just put up a new repo,if their addon is half as good as the old one I'll be well happy.

Must admit I haven't used it for a while but always used to be ok, tried a couple of channels before and seemed OK? Didn't get any sign up stuff, dunno what my version is though.

Edit: Tried a couple of channels on notfilmon too, seemed to work? Again, old version though.

So long as you don't enable subtitles you're ok,hard coded subs are obviously ok.I still use 16.1 myself,it is faster but then I only use Terrariumtv if I want to watch a movie or tv show with subtitles (they have them up long before they hit kodi.

The VLC player also has the same problem as kodi with a backdoor if you dl subs.

nice one ta

Livenetvtv, swiftstreamz, solidstreamz, halowtv (new in the app game, adding new channels daily) & uktvnow (currently having trouble with its database).

I mainly used them for the 3pms this year.

Oh and Mobdro but they have started blocking the sports channels during the footy.

I use Exodus a lot for TV Shows on the firestick and recently seems to be really hit and miss on the streams.

Is there an issue with Exodus or is there another add-on I could use?

Also, I get a message every now and again about the cache being full....how do I empty it?

I am running Kodi 16.1

A lot of the developers have gone underground with risk of authorities clamping down so streams have been removed.

Everything is tits up atm but for tv and movie try Specto, salts,Movie Addictz & fine and dandy (dandy media repo),At the flix, white devil streams,Wolfpack (more powers new home),BOB,Real movies, stream army,uk turks,Elysium/zen,MaverickTV,skynet,the black hat,Sanctuary (new home of deliverance),silent hunter, tinklepad & matalliQ are all working.Evolve is currently down because they are in the middle of a revamp but I expect the new version/new name will be one of the best as they had become one of the best places to go for new releases.

You will get fewer HD options using Jarvis though as it doesn't use https

To clear you cache you want to be opening the ares wizard --> maintenance and click to clear but you also want to be clearing your cache when you close kodi by going to the sticks settings --> applications --> manage installed applications --> clicking on the app/kodi and force stop --> clear cache. You should really do that with all the apps that you have on the stick.
