"Not sure why Bajcetic got booked as there was barely any contact". It's Coote, the twat who was on VAR when VVD was hacked down by Picford but thought it was fine.

His movement is excellent though and could have scored a couple.
I'm with you on this one Al. Think he's had a good game and been involved in some of our most dangerous moments

If the plan was to play deeper and more conservatively and hit them on the break, then I can’t understand why Nunez isn’t playing - he’d be far better at chasing the lost causes and getting on to these long balls we seem desperate to punt up field.

Even half… which is better than last time
We need to keep the ball better, turnovers have killed us

Not amazing, not horrible against a decent team.
Should be 2-1 up, worrying miss from Mo.

He did very well when the ball was cleared off the line. Not worried in the slightest about Mo’s finishing.

We look way more threataning than we did a few weeks ago. That's a positive. Thought we've played really well in patches and you've got to remember Brighton are a good side, playing with confidence too. Gakpo has played well. Elliott looks great going forward, but he's definitely a weak link when picking the ball up deeper on the left. Definite improvement though and this game could go either way.. deffo in the balance!

Why the fuck are we playing Harvey on the left? Every single pass from him goes backwards. He's just not quick enough and is incredibly left-footed in his dribbling. We're making him look bad and blunting the side.

What game are you watching? The best chance of the entire game came from his wonderful ball to put it on a plate for mo to muck up; then the goal we actually got came from him cutting in. Also it has enabled gakpo to ay some fantastic football holding the ball up etc. The only player whose "every single pass" has gone sideways or backwards is thiago.

The booking for Bajcetic for his 1st foul was ridiculous.

Can see us down to 10 men by the end of this game....Coote will always find a way to fuck us

Think he’s still not fully fit.

We've played really well, and attacked better than in weeks if not months in my view, team looks coherent and is playing well.

Relatively happy with that, think we've looked better going forward but we're still putting ourselves under pressure from loose passing, a lot of it out from the back.  That Japanese lad they have is a real threat, he was an absolute nightmare in the recent defeat.

Keita is so frustrating because I think he's a cracking player, completely different from our other midfielders but clearly barring a huge U-turn he's probably done here, if he regains consistency regarding fitness someone will get a real player.

Not sure how fit Nunez is but I'd unleash the crazy fucker sharpish.  Elliott has so much talent, still unsure of his best position.

It's been better, tiny steps I guess.

Think Konate should have done better when he conceded the corner they scored from. Easy header out for a throw in.

Not when the ball is spinning. He even indicated that himself.

Useless fucker, he's put the kid on a needless yellow so early in a big game.

Gakpo and Bajcetic have been excellent, both having their best games yet after previous good performances.

Really? Not trying to wind you up here, but he's been shanking chances for months. Hiw can you not be worried. It's not just this one but a long succession of misses. I'm not worried about any other part of Mo's game, but his ability to finish has evaporated.

Yep, he couldn't appear less interested (rightly so) even if he agreed to do it, a complete waste of everyones time. before and after the game is plenty.

It has but I don't see why he couldn't do that from the right.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

The ball went in the same direction his head went with the follow through.
