Another preferential dilemma question we're facing this week It's fairly easy for me to be honest, I'd want Man U to win it. They are a multiple-cup winning side, so it's not unusual. I know, but the spirit of the law was intended to stop goal hangers and players gaining an advantage by being a yard or more behind the defender. It wasn't ever intended to catch a player sprinting past someone stood still and half his leg ends up nearer the goal.

With the millimetres they go to for VAR its tough, but too many goals get chalked off for tiny margins - maybe clear daylight could be done, ie every part of the body has to be past, so a toe nail won't be included. If they can do a toe, then can do it the other way?
