I always like to see sugar daddied nothing 'clubs', propped up by oil money beaten no matter the circumstances, well in Strasbourg, PSG have destroyed that league (yes I know they didn't win it last year) as they simply buy up all of their rivals talent, sickening.

Except, that not what is happening in Ligue 1. Bayern do that, PSG don't. Lyon and Monaco hardly sell their players to PSG. Mbappe is an exception but he is a Parisian, developed in Paris who went to Monaco to get noticed by teams like PSG.

Great thing about Ligue 1 is, the best aren't all dreaming of PSG. They just have the best players over all positions. Similar to leaders in any other league.

Aouar is the guy we should replace Phil with. Just 20 and what a brilliant AM already.

Oh look Fekir has scored again. Literally the best replacement for Coutinho. Absolutely no idea why we aren't after him. He's twice the player Lemar is.

French Cup:

Bordeaux eliminated by a 4th division side.

They conceded a 94th minute equalizer and also had 3 men sent off!

PSG are kicking the shit out of Rennes. 4-0 up and it's not half-time yet. They had 10 shots on target in the first 45!

Looks like they all have money on Neymar to score. Great team goals.

I'm sure I'm not the only one still confused with Neymar's decision to leave Barca for PSG?
Surely forcing a transfer just for financial reasons seems a bit strange when you're amongst the 3 best players in the world?
Something must have bothered him behind the scenes at Barca, maybe related to why the likes of Alves moved on.
Wasting his talent at PSG, though I have a feeling he might be using the move as a platform to eventually join Madrid when Ronaldo leaves.
In the meantime he gets to cash in at PSG and pick up trophies.

PSG 8-0 Dijon

Neymar x 4
Di Maria x 2
Cavani x 1
Mbappe x 1

44 goals between Cavani (20) Neymar (15) and Mbappe (9) from 21 games.

Watched a few games this season. Its just Neymar Fc. Pass to Neymar, and whenever he is on the ball he can do whatever he wants. So many times he could pass the ball to players in better positions, and ball hogs and ruins attacks. Still, Hes the best player on the pitch and league by miles, so he can do what he wants. No more in Messi shadow.

The standard of that league is abysmal. The Dijon goalie was throwing them in - the rest of his team rolled over. I just can’t understand why world class players would want to play there, crap opposition and half empty stadia

Meanwhile, Neymar scored four goals and set up two more as the French league leaders Paris Saint-Germain crushed Dijon 8-0 on Wednesday but the match ended in controversy when the Brazilian was booed while taking the penalty for the final goal, with fans instead chanting for Edinson Cavani.

Yep. Sensational stuff again from him. Aouar scored as well. I swear, if we need a Coutinho replacement who would be relatively second tier and unlimited potential, he is the one. So much talent in Ligue 1, its ridiculous.

Also, hilarious that Neymar got booed for refusing to give the penalty to Cavani (which would have made him PSG's all time top goalscorer ). Edinson is CUP's darling and Neymar better learn it soon.

Just reading that. He already had a hat-trick and Cavani only needed one to become their all time top goalscorer.

Sounds like he wasn't happy about the fan reaction either, the pampered shit.

Crikey, this doesn’t say much for team spirit:

PSG defender Thomas Meunier described it as "a bit of a shame and a bit ungrateful" but acknowledged that Neymar was his side's penalty taker.

An utter twat. Was he not angling for a move to Real Madrid a month or so back?

The same reason good players went to Monaco when they were top dogs, its a job to many players so grab the cash while you can.

Or to China...yes, I know its about the money, but I still don't get how footballers - who MUST be massively competitive by their nature - want to play in a league where their team is so much better that there is no challenge. Add to that the lack of fans (I watched part of Monaco's game last week just to see what the fuss of Lemar was about and the stadium was less than half full and atmosphereless) and it must be dispiriting when you're used to playing in front of vocal, partisan support. But yes. Money.

Aouar? Seriously talented player. He's only 19. He'll sell for big money in the not too distant future.

I've got a lot more to say about him

1. He's the best Coutinho replacement out there
2. He is perfect for the way we play.
3. We've now missed the boat no chance now he'll be off to Madrid, Bayern or City.

Should have gone all out for him as soon as Coutinho left. He's twice the player Lemar is.

I think this is an area they need to really have a look at. It's okay for goalies to jump recklessly into players (think Neuer on Higuain at the World Cup) but an outfield player is potentially risking a red card if he does it. You shouldn't be able to do what you want because you have gloves on.
