Match Day Parking - Around Anfield?
Redbairn1876:
Possible change of plan now. Is there still lots of taxis outside Anfield say an hour or so after the game finishes?

In my experience no, when needing a taxi into town after hanging around post match, weve needed to use uber.

Ah not so good. Used to be loads but that was a few years ago. Uber not an issue though.

Driving down on Sunday, was going to book parking in the city centre and head out for food and a bit off shopping after the game but giving that a miss now. I would like to park closer to Anfield and not have to walk from city centre to Anfield then double back on myself picking car up then driving passed Anfield towards the motorway heading north.
I have seen on Just park there is two Asda’s in Bootle £5 parking for Sunday £15 cheaper than Q Park was going to be. I seen it can take an hour to walk, has anyone used this parking before and is it okay and recommend?
After the game I will be heading in the correct direction back to car up past aintree onto motorway really can’t be arsed walking back to the city centre for the car or dealing with taxis and buses.

There are plenty of parking spots within 15 minutes walk of Anfield. No need to pay money. However due to residents parking zone you will need to park in an area marked as “Free” on the signposts. If you are parking up early and going into town there will be plenty available.
