Subbing a CB would be daft
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Can't be offside from a goal kick.  The delay was probably the VAR officials flipping through the rule book!
Thanks :). I did wonder, but don't remember hearing it before.

I can't imagine us not getting a second.  But, I can very easily see Wolves getting a second too.

Without VVD, the high line seems especially vulnerable.

Lots of good stuff, but need TAA to stop gifting them balls.  He's played some great stuff and he's made some horrific decisions too.

Mo for Jota please.

Nah even then, particularly when we’re using one sub for Thiago

Watkins apparently clean through and shit the bed to make it 2 for Villa. We need to calm the fuck down and assert some control over this because its obvious what way Wolves want to play.

So, hopefully they will get other chances. That City line needs to be attacked.

VVD needs to come on. We need to firm up our defence as Wolves were having too many chances.

Mo to come on later and score.

This is unreal!

I am more than a little bitter than due to work I couldn't get up to Liverpool for the game but I think I'd be needing medical attention if I had made it as my heart is going!

I only know this rule because in the 1-4 victory over united in 2009 (?) Dossena scored a goal after winning it while offside for a goalkick

He done the hard part, he got away from Fernandinho and a bit of a heavy touch meant Stones had time to make a good covering tackle.

Thiago out could be a huge problem for CL final. Madrid midfield will absolutely will dominate if he is missing.

I think we will win this, just need some composure. Mane looks on his game. Need more from Jota/Diaz.

Unlikely Villa hold out, but there is always a chance.

Not what I needed to read right now mate
