I love this guy.

To me, he is the most obvious fit for our new manager's "ideal player" profile in the entire squad.

Think he'll shake up a few peoples notions about 1'st and 2'nd choice strikers very very soon.

Would love to see this lad get games under Klopp because he seems to fit counter pressing so well. Could see him being our modern day Kuyt with his work rate and hopefully knack of getting big goals.

The Hodgson Effect looks like its going to screw us long after he's left. Picking him for his England debut could bump the tribunal fee to over £10m.

Surely the price is based on his value when he became a free agent, rather than what he goes onto do.

Must be. Its not our fault its taking them so bloody long to figure out the price.

Delighted for Danny, deserves it for his hard work.

You never know with the FA, but if logic is involved surely his debut shouldn't affect the tribunal fee - if we hadn't played him at all this season (and he hadn't then shown he could cut it with us) he would not be in the England squad, so I can't see how Burnley could claim they supplied us with a ready plug-and-play full England international.

How can his cost increase. We bought him in the summer. How can they prove it wasn't our coaching that improved him enough for the england call up. We bought him in summer as a burnley player, U21 international and who's contract was up. The fee should be no more than £6m. Bullshit
Thank Fowler we're not getting Caulker

The more I see of him the more and more I like him.

Not only his work rate, but his touch and game intelligence is brilliant. There was a point towards the end of the game last night, where a cross came in from the right and he was in the box and as the Lithuanian defender headed it away, Ings tried to read it and pulled out towards the edge of the box to attempt read where the ball would drop..........small thing but I thought it showed great intelligence.

So we have 1 out for the season, one who's just back after being out for a season, and Benteke who's also had injury problems last season and has missed 4 games already, will probably miss a couple more. Ah well, step up Mr Origi

Three strikers now, one's injured, one's injury prone and one's raw.

Gomez and now Ings. Such a shame.
Pretty happy with Arse taking it.

Disappointing.
