What an insult to Everton's great history this current set of players, management and Board is. Again, we look totally toothless. Not surprising as we don't get enough people in the box, we don't shoot, we pass poorly, and we collapse so easily. Shocking but predictable. Oh...and we are so slow.

Merely surviving is not a great history, despite evertonians thinking that is the case with the pl.

Would they drop Lampard without having a replacement lined up?

They’re going to get a nasty surprise if they sack Lampard and aim for a Tuchel or Pochettino. Probably end up with Dyce which wouldn’t be the worst thing they could do.

That VAR disallowed goal for Soton' was completely disgraceful. A little nudge that wouldn't even move your grandma, and it gets disallowed.

be about right for their board not to have got a replacment lined up - or at least have talked to a few managers in preparation, as this has been on the cards for months. They should already know who they want and can get.

And yes of course, it’s them that drives out the manager, so I suppose it’ll depend on how they react at the end of this!

Must say I’ve enjoyed the Everton game. He can’t last 90 minutes but Antonio was terrific for the Hammers, as have been Rice, Ogbonna and Bowen.

Iwobi, Gray and since he came on, McNeil, have been lively for Everton.

Question really, is are there three worse teams than Everton in the division?

BTW, I’d have Rice here in a shot.
