I´m a staunch republican, but have respect the Queen for what amounts to a lifetime public role that she has had no choice over.

The Queen must despair at the country she is leaving behind. As a few others have mentioned, with her meeting Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and Liz Truss as PMs within the space of a couple of days, is it any wander she is on her way out?!

The sad thing is, one of her dying legacies will inevitably be a boost in the polls for Truss in a time of national unity. She has seen 16 Prime Ministers in a her time. She sure as shit knows Liz-fucking-Truss isn´t up to the job.

I came to the UK 13 years ago so I'm not a native born Brit and I can't help up but to feel sad if the Queen passes away. Regardless of the history of the monarchy she's was the glue that kept the United Kingdom together.
