they will struggle badly, especially in the tougher games.
But didn't they just perform better than ever this season in a tougher game without him?

Have you watched the game? Even if we ignore the fact that Mancs' 1st goal came from an obvious handball, and the 2nd goal was a deflection, it was by far Chelsea's worst game of the season. They never showed up, just like they didn't show up against Palace couple of weeks earlier. Something is happening at Chelsea, but they are still hiding it well from the press.

Stick a fork in him. He's done.

As much as I hate Utd. That's not nice.

I know terrible injuries happen but Mourinho not rotating cost his career.

Hyperbole much? He's played less games this season than he did last season. He's 36, at the end of his career. He's not 16 just starting out. He's already played for 20 years. How exactly has Mourinho cost him his career? Did he make Ibrahimovic land the way he did? Have you forgot that he left him out of the team on Sunday?

Besides it's not like he had an injury consistent with being overplayed. He came down wrong on his leg and hyperextended it and did his ACL.

Man Utd without Zlatan this season:

8 matches
5W
2D
1L

Slightly better stats than with him. Of course what that does explain is those 8 matches were mainly Cup matches where Man Utd were expected to win, other than the Chelsea match.

They won't offer Zlatan an extension.

They'll send Rooney to Everton for Lukaka.

Those two moves will save a ton of money especially as their revenues will drop not being in the CL for 2 consecutive years which has been documented on here many times.

I'm sure I read they have to offer him the extension due to him full filling all the stipulations this season , it's up to him to take it or not ?

Bad injury to have at any stage of your career let alone his age. If he's really going to be out until Jan then he will probably only have 1/4 of next season, keeping in mind that you don't just return from a significant knee injury.

Big decision for them whether it's worth keeping him with that in mind.

Not sure if it was just arse licking, but I heard a few weeks back that he was really good around the kids. Trained hard, encouraged them, never bollocked them for playing the wrong pass.  Kind of doesnt fit with the ego picture. Perhaps they were talking about someone else.

This actually fits with what I've seen as a casual footy watcher. His body language on the pitch this season hasn't been negative, despite all the shit Mourinho spews up and the turd football they play. Now, "not being a pouty shoulder-slumping head-shaker" isn't exactly a glowing testimony to his leadership, but I expected the pouting and whatnot once it became clear (in ohhh say mid September) that their league season was going to be deep deep derp.  More often than not I've seen him clapping for teammate intentions and always looked vocal after they scored or conceded.  Long story short, I was kinda sorta starting to respect the ego with two legs. His body language on pitch was certainly a far cry from Cristiano Ronaldo, who puts NBA sulkers (the pinnacle of this field) on notice.

They never showed up, just like they didn't show up against Palace couple of weeks earlier.

I watched the whole 90 minutes of that game as I had a bet on.

There was 3 goals after 11 minutes and none for the rest of the game - it was a freak result.

Chelsea were knocking on the door constantly but couldn't finish - on a different day it would have been 6-2.

...no I'm not bitter about losing money that day...at all...
