Both Nunez and Mo should have slotted one each by now. It’s not as bad as people are making out.

True, we should be leading the game we need to find our touch in front of goal.

Our midfield is made of glass…

Thiago and Keita constantly injured

Henderson off the pace

Milner 36 Years old

Ox - Is he always injured

Fabinho - Having his worst period for the club…

Elliot and Carvalho are only young

Curtis Jones now having injury problems

Last 2 injuries for Keita have been impact injuries from terrible, violent tackles, the kind any player could get injured from - he hasn't missed much of last 18 months through the previous niggles etc he used to constantly get

Not really that sharp going forward. Very disjointed. We are conceding far too often as well. No real clear cut chances for us. Elliot played well, that’s about it.
Pretty much what I was going to post as well.

Theory? We're still hurting about last season. We went so far, broke so many records, etc, but ultimately come up short - think this is playing on our minds and also this is boring, same-again opponents that just wear you down by sitting behind the ball and hitting on the counter. Sucks the life out of me just watching Palace and the ilk.

These two things are exacerbating our views as well - Anything less than perfection is immediately pounced on, we (and City) have set the bar that high. That said, we've had the chances to be at least 2 up and Harvey is looking superb.

We'll turn this around. Believe.
The most important people at Liverpool Football Club are the people who want to be here

Sorry but this is flat out wrong - he’s touch tight with no reason to be then takes a step back when he could try and step up… he’s been wrecked that half anytime they’ve run at him. It’s not his fault he can’t play in this set up

This, he being exposed here big time.

Yeah. Too square. Too tentative. Zaha inviting Nat on to him and waiting for the pass. A simple pass at that. Virgil was not exactly blameless either.

Robertson was poor against Fulham and not much better tonight.

Been poor for a lot longer than that but it's heresy to bring it up.

You’re attacking our fifth choice centre half for being…… the level of a fifth choice centre half?

Correct mate. There's a reason why he's 5th choice, the guy is limited compared to the 4 in front of him but if we have to pick him that's not his fault and he has done his best.

Van Dijk very disapointing for the goal
Just seemed to stand off Zaha when he could have just thrown himself to try a block.

Genuinely not far away there. Should be leading.

Went flat though.

Yes. Next 10 are important. I hope something positive (like a goal) happens or at least something controversial to get the crowd up.

Correct. Too many people blame Phillips but there’s basically nothing he could have done for their goal. The missed tackle by Fabinho was the problem and he has looked way off the pace.

I’m worried that we’ll see the same pattern in the 2nd half unless we start to win the individual battles.

It was so obviously going to happen with Nat back there though but yeah teams always get in behind us with one pass to a pacy winger.

Are we even confident Fabinho is quicker than Nat? I'm not convinced Fab is fit. If he is... yikes. He's moving at a snail's pace out there.

Really, we just to put our chances away early, and the rest will take care of itself. The more we time passes and we get frustrated then this happens...

Still a 2nd half to go, come on Mighty Red Men, turn this around and wake this season up.

Keita for Milner would be the change for me.  At least then we wouldn't have one of our midfielders playing on both touchlines like Milner has done a fair bit of this match.

Fabinho will get a lot of blame but he’s so isolated, we’re crazy open in midfield.
What left us 'crazy open' in midfield is Fabinho's attempt to nick the ball that left Zaha running into space, with the man on the ball with nothing to stop him picking a pass. If he'd held the player up, Trent was a few yards away and Palace would have gone backwards or run into trouble. Fine, counter press, nick the ball and be right back on the attack: but he was never in a position to win the ball.

Some embarrassing comments in here. We put away our chances and we win easy second half.
Just like the first half then, oh wait, we didn’t put any chances away.
I always think we will win , however we need to sharpen up infront of goal massively.

He’s fourth choice of Joe is on bench

VVD, Matip, Konate, Gomez and then Phillips. It’s always the easy target to blame a player who is 5th choice when our first choice players are playing worse than he is.
