He sounds completely out of place. I'd imagine it probably took him about ten hours to do it to Polycell's satisfaction. They should've let him do it in his own words.

No episode of the animation this week if you're looking for it. Back next week though.

I love Peter Kay and Russell.  Even though my fella calls the latter cock-eye.  Russ is quite a sexy young man and quite funny.  IMO

Agreed re: Peter Kay, what a cock.  Phoenix Nights was great, albeit I suspect he wrote very little.  First stand up was decent... the rest, complete wank.

He's not really though and both the Office and Extras were excellent imo.

I used to hate him as well. But I reckon he's the best comedian to have hit the UK in ages. I don't know if I'm in a minority or what, but I liked Extras more than The Office... they're both different to anything that's gone before. I was watching Extras earlier, and I remember laughing more than I did the first time I watched it. I think it's an acquired taste.

Not sure about his stand ups though- haven't really watched them, don't really plan to. The podcasts are amazing, but it's 75% Karl Pilkington rather than Gervais.

Nah, seeing as this has turned into a Gervais love-in (and quite right too...) I thought I'd bung it in here. And to compound the felony, I saw him live last Monday and bought a Pilko mug for work  :D

I'm not a great sleeper, so I made an ipod playlist of everything from the xfm shows, through to the podcasts and the Guides. Hours upon hours of halfwitted Pilkingtonian goodness to get me through the small hours.

I've done that as well.

Yeah I do too, going through XFM for the 3rd time and listen to them in bed -- I'm hoping the pure volume keeps this cycle fairly fresh although eventually I'll start to memorize every show :(

Are they going to do any more guides? Preferred them to the actual podcasts.
